(e.g., you can't one-shot birds or other small animals with a boomerang, etc.) I plan on starting a new world with him and surviving indefinitely. That's all i can say for i just reached my first winter with him these days myself. In case use it as a distract things, I haven't found a right situation to use. Take a good preparing will be better than short-term solution. I'm used to relying on other "free" force to counter the Hound, like bee hive, frog pond, beefalo herd.... No more complexity in fighting or survival; all the same basic principles apply, except it's significantly more tedious to achieve the same result as any other character.
