Jakob shoves off the branches.

 

"Riddle?  Yeah, I found that in the chest before it blew up.  I think it's just a manual, from what I saw of it.  We have to travel to some kind of rock surrounded by gore on a mountain.  Doesn't sound like a trap at all, eh?"

 

Jakob brushes off some pine needles.

 

"Anyway, it DOES say safe haven, which is sounding pretty good.  Maybe there are even other people...and maybe Prometheus will be there too," he adds hopefully.

"But there's also one more thing...I found a discarded mirror lying in the camp.  Maybe that has something to do with the flash."

 

Meanwhile...

The old man limps into his home, clenching his burned arm and wincing in pain.  He hadn't counted on Wilhem's chest trap, and he only hoped the boy had survived.  He staggers to a table and grabs a bowl full of gray salve.  He rubs it on his burn, and the searing pain subsides.  The man collapses into a chair in exhaustion-he hasn't made the climb up the mountain in a while.  After he has sat for a while, he pulls out his spyglass...
