Can Somebody Tell Me Where I Can Find THIS GOD FORSAKEN WHIRLPOOL?!?!?!

I can't do, I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, MAN! I've spend the latter half of Winter and a Majority of Spring searching for the giant whirlpool that'll lead me to the sanctum, and I still haven't found it yet! Every major island has been located, every major landmark as been spotted, but this god forsaken vortex still alludes me. Trying to find this thing has been a mentally draining experience, and I don't know how much more of this I can take. There's nothing interesting to interact with out there, nothing that'll point me in the right direction, just me and my crappy grass boat aimlessly wandering the ocean looking for whirlpool that probably doesn't even exist. Is there like any exploits I can perform that can glitch me into the sanctum or something? Ocean exploration is so boring and I'd really like to get to the actual fun parts of the game. it only spawns on the “Deep Ocean” wherever that is, and only when a “Boat” approaches. I’m only going off what the Wiki says. But when you click “Boat” it doesn’t show a grass raft, it shows the standard Wooden one (with 200hp)

Your problem is likely that you’re not using a  “Boat” that the Whirlpool is registered to swallow.

That would be my best guess anyway.

Your problem is likely that you’re not using a  “Boat” that the Whirlpool is registered to swallow.

No. You can approach with anything, especially considering c_gonext("oceanwhirlbigportal") is an option.

The whirlpool is on the bottom left in this example, in you map it could be anywhere that has that amount of space and is in the deep ocean...
Let's hope Klei gives us a way to find it easier, right now your best bet is making the celestial portal and swapping to Woodie/WX to use them to explore the ocean X.X

I'd guess left side of the map. No guarantee.

Have you tried sailing instead of rowing? It might be more engaging.

if you're tired of rowing, but still don't want to make sails, you can use an auto-clicker. I set an autoclicker to rowing speed, and whenever I go out on the ocean I turn it on, that way I don't have to keep on clicking.

in my experience it's always around the lunar island or hermit land so I'd look around these

If you're on PC, I'd just use console to find it every time until a better option is implemented.

In my world's case since I 100% explored the ocean before the whirlpool, I just used Woodie and popped a bunch of goose idols. It's not the most entertaining, but it's the fastest way to find it without cheats and especially if your map is from before the update.

I found mine at the the edge of the world maybe your whirlpool is in a corner or at the edge as well it was not fun finding it

That's probably what I'll do. As much as I'd like to cheat myself there, I know I'll never forgive myself for doing it.

FINALLY, I MANAGED TO FIND IT! It turns out it was near Frost Jaw's island, which is a relief since I was not thrilled exploring every corner of the ocean just to see if it's there. Even so, they really need to make locating the whirlpool easier a priority either next update or in part 2, 'cause this whole ordeal is agonizing if you don't end up stumbling on it early.

In some maps it is a PAIN IN THE ASS to find this MF.

Your best solution is to pick woodie and explore the remaining unexplored sea
