Runnerduck
Many times I've tried to attack groups of spiders, only to accidentally move past them instead of click on one, letting them land a few free hits on me. I think one thing that could help is if I could hold down a key to stand in one spot, and then swing my weapon in whatever direction I click while that key is held. I think this will become even more important if ranged weapons are introduced.

NomadCF
An attack/Action key would be awesome (mining, attacking, chopping).

xusnorris
Yes, is a bit frustrating when you want to attack and Wilson only runs like a crazy in the middle of a huge horde of spiders xDThat option would be a cool option ;D
Excess
We currently have a key to "force" an attack even if you don't have a weapon equipped: CTRL. It's only a tweak away to make it stand your ground instead of running like a sissy. And it's compatible with the upcoming Spacebar attack (which will be keyboard only and you'll have to face what you want to hit with WASD, which will be messy if you ask me).
