Would you want the "bad skill trees changed"

  1. 1. Do you want certain old/bad skill trees revisited or refreshed?

  2. 2. If you do want them to be looked at again, why?

    • Lack of polish
    • Balance changes (mainly nerfs)
    • Balance changes (mainly buffs)
    • Lack of gameplay impact
    • No skill tree variation (no incentive to branch out with your skill choices, will always remain the same, potentially has a "meta" loadout. (For example like wormwood's skill tree, compared to something like wortox's)
    • Boring or un-engaging affinities
    • Adding more "unlocks" akin to wigfrid; to potentially push players to try different things and strategies
    • Don't have depth
    • Other (comment please)
  3. 3. If you DONT want the past skill trees to be touched up on, why?

    • It'll become the third or even fourth wave of character "reworks"
    • I'd prefer the resources and dev times to be spend on something else
    • They're all good
    • Other (comment please)

I love skilltrees and am surprised to see the lack of support for them! The characters are more balanced and engaging than they've ever been.

I genuinely think that the only people who are against skill trees are those who did not play Willow or Woodie.

Us Woodie and Willow players know that these were necessary, Wicker also needs one to turn her into a proper character.

The only good skill trees are Walter's & Wilson's. Wormwood's is probably the best of the bad trees, but it still sucks since it's just huge straight linear lines without choice or thought. If you want the good skills you need to take the bad skills.

Most skill trees having some weaker skills is by design to increase the price of the more powerful skills, it's only a problem if there too many weak or boring skills in a single skill tree (Wendy/Wolfgang).

Wilson's torch brach isn't exactly good and Walter is an exception to this.

Right, right. We wouldn't want Wormwood to be able to have access to the monumentally overpowered ability of having bees not sting him so he can just press space on the hives instead of burning them then grabbing from them while a flingomatic is nearby. That ability that is exclusively quality of life and doesn't actually make him stronger in any sort of way is way too strong to cost 1 point, it really deserves costing 4 points. Weak skills that cost 1 point are things like a free AoE revive, or 5 innate planar defense, or +10% damage to lunar creatures and +10% defense from shadow creatures and Abigail gets those same benefits and Abigail gets 15 planar defense. Weak things like that. Not strong things like being able to harvest from a bee hive without it being annoying.

It only cost 1 more point if you already go for Bramble Husk Specialist and it fits Wormwood's theme of having perks that help with farming (pretty meh perk to).

1. up to 2 players only and didn't it cost like a lot of inspiration?

2. in practice it's 3,75 planar defense because Wigfrid's already got 25% resistance that do effect planer damage already.

3. lunar is decent becease it give Wendy one less hit against shadow creatures with most weapons, only gestalt Abigail really benefit from the 15 planar defense becease rift bosses and some non bosses are pretty hostile against regular and shadow Abigail. Only go shadow to get the potion or if you really don't like gestalt Abigail, shadow III is so expensive and not suited for rift content right now.
