It sounds like it goes from C to B. And I'm wondering if the Roman numerals on the paper from the toolbox have anything to do with it, since they can be used to represent chords in musical notation. I tried playing some chords on it, but it didn't seem to solve it. EDIT: It's actually two octaves, the lever on the right side changes it between higher and lower. I was clicking it in both ways you described and nothing changed. For some reason, when I refreshed, I just had the panel with the bunker. I enjoyed the lever panel (spent nearly an hour figuring that out myself) but this one...just not enjoyable to brute force without any feedback about what ingredients where wrong anyone got the full list of what worked? Or can give some clues about how to 'read' the notebook?
