becouse there are
click on Wagstaff on the lower one and then on bucket his holding, then you will join us in "sap drip countdown"

(or i just missunderstood you and you already know it)

sorry i read it wrong, don't bother please

Can anyone check how long it took to drop the countdown number on previous ones, cause few hours just passed and it's still "1". Isn't that weird a bit?

Becouse for me it would mean:
1. I'm overthinking a bit and Klei just need to like "start the countdown"
2. that we still might have something to do there to actually start it

So this entire ARG is just 1 big waiting fest? That's not really an ARG is it now? It's got the alternate reality part, but there's not a whole lot of game going on. I feel like Klei's kinda fumbled the bag with this ARG, at least the early parts. I'm hoping it gets better, I'm just not impressed so far.

also how do you get the 3rd sap bucket panel to appear

In that case the lore would go something like this:

Younger Wagstaff steals the projector that was recording Maxwell's and Charlie's final act from the collapsing movie theater (as we see in an intermission animation) and discovers The Constant thanks to it. He later, figures out how to project himself into the Constant and begins exploring the world during Maxwell's reign (playable Wagstaff in singleplayer)

Somewhere along the timeline he starts working with the human that became WX-78, sets up his factory, delivers the spider to Webber's dad etc, etc.

He figures out how to open a portal to the Constant and sends WX-78 there. Somehow none of the eldritch gods of the constant nor Maxwell or Charlie really care.

Wagstaff needs more time and to disappear from the public eye in order to continue his experiments so he sets up his gateway to teleport him somewhere in the real world and cause the factory collapse. Cue the Winona cinematic: she sees Wagstaff going through the portal, the portal closes, Winona repairs it but accidentally connects it once more with the Constant and gets kidnapped by Charlie.

Whatever this arg is slowly uncovering is happening after the factory collapse and before Wilson's disapperance

After Wilson was kidnapped Wagstaff moved into his old house where he found Maxwell's Door that Wilson had built. Cue the grainy transmission in dst.

I gotta hand it to the devs; this could work as a way to keep Winona's cinematic 100% canon while also explaining why Wagstaff was still just a projection in the Constant up until the Scion fight, even though we see him going through the portal in the animation.

However this doesn't explain how Wagstaff was younger when Maxwell and Charlie were taken, but was old when Winona was taken. Winona is Charlie's older sister. Let's say that Charlie was 33 when she was taken, that'd make Winona, like 38 or something. In the intermission animation Wagstaff looks around 46 when he stole that projector, seemingly moments after Maxwell and Charlie were taken. If that's the case, then if Wagstaff was old when the factory burned down, then Winona should also look older

GOOD RECAP SIR. Have my potato cup!

I almost knew everything but summarized coherently like this was cool.

They're cool when they're actually ARGs and not just waiting sims. This one is lame as hell.

Ye. Check the binding of isaac keeper arg. Real cool ****. They can be cool. It's all in the creator/s.

I think this ARG explains what happened after Wagstaff was captured by the Celestial Scion in the recent update. My theory is that after being captured, two Wagstaffs came to exist in the real world. Alter, based on Wagstaff's projection in the Constant, manifested in the real world in his likeness. The time and place is Wagstaff's old house (it's possible that Alter time-traveled to this point).

In the "Interference" [Wilson Animated Short] video, the real Wagstaff is still researching the Constant when Alter (as Wagstaff) appears and tampers with the radio. Events like sending the spider or modifying WX-78 were all carried out by Alter.

In the "Next of Kin" [Winona Animated Short] video, the real Wagstaff, after being captured by the Celestial Scion, is unable to enter the Constant through his projection machine. This forces him to build a teleportation gate in his factory. When he activates it, he is pulled into the portal and transported to the Hamlet universe. The Wagstaff we see after the fire in this ARG is Alter.

I'm so sorry but ..... I. Told. You.

Klei have been consistent for years, this was actually so much less than I ever dreamed they'd do.

How many more times you guys gonna get your hopes up? The game is over chaps. The shark has been jumped.

Ok? Thank you for letting us know we were fools for looking forward to this, I guess?

Do you want us to adopt the same "modern Klei bad" mindset and just have no hope for the future of this game?

I'm pretty disappointed* with how this "ARG"/comic's playing out so far too, but dropping into the thread to be the I Told You So guy isn't it.

*Edit: I spoke too soon. Peak.

No :s

Giving my view point. Don't be weird. I literally don't know you or have any expectations of you.

Somebody provided me the background from under the pipe image, and it had these letters. I had removed background colors to make it readable. People in the unofficial DSTcord are saying, after de-scrambling, it reads closely to "Manifestum".

EDIT: Included the unedited image as well.
