Can't say anything about the dlc ones because I haven't played them. I think Hutch is cuter than Chester, but I'm so scared of using him because of snurtles and monkeys so I leave him near the sinkhole...

I used to like shadow chester but since I can't put the orb in him anymore I had to revert to regular chester. If he doesn't have the orb I know I will lose him eventually

My exact reasoning of why I don't like or use shadow chester anymore.

Shadow Chester is really overrated I don’t know why everyone doesnt use Ice anymore it’s much better. The Maxwell update also made him even worse.

cause inventory is more valueable than being able to keep a thermal stone cold, and outside of that niche use there are much better options for keeping food fresh. But hey if it suits your playstyle good for you, at least the shadow chester nerf didn't affect you

Summer immunity is really good, and he is good for keeping food fresh because using bundles constantly is annoying.

The nerf does affect me because in Multiplayer it is shared with Maxwell storage which is annoying, and most people use shadow chester after the Maxwell update.

If you asked me a couple years ago, I would have said shadow Chester, but after they linked it to Maxwells hat, it's my least favorite lower than just basic Chester. So snow chester is my new best friend. 

But nothing can compare to Ro Bin's awesomeness. Doesn't even NEED a special transformation that's how awesome Ro Bin is!

Even if there's no Maxwell, I hate not being able to store Chester's own eyebone or other "irreplaceable items" in Chester.

i always liked fire packims in shipwrecked since if you cook anything about to rot thats not fish it would restore the food to 100% freshness

I’d use fire packim more if he didn’t spit fire because of single players fire system but I’m about to start a new shipwrecked play through so maybe I’ll give him a try

My favorite companion is the Ticoon. Is there's no kitcoons around, he'll literally just follow you, defend you, ride boats with you, it's awesome ahaha.
Feels like no one remembers him.
