There are currently some issues with creatures getting past Electric Fences. These will be addressed next week with a more consistent implementation.

Happy weekend!

Changes

  • The Electric Fence Post Blueprint is now obtained by rummaging the Teetering Junk Pile after Scrappy Werepig has been freed from it.  You can even try to get it before defeating him at your own risk.
  • Wormwood now burns when electrocuted.
    • Minor shocks from Electric Fence will not burn him.
    • W.A.R.B.O.T. drones will be quite dangerous for him without insulated gear. We will be looking for feedback on this.
  • W.A.R.B.I.S. Armor and Head Gear are now insulated against electricity.
  • Unrestrained Statics will decay away when being forced out of a Moonstorm.
  • Wigfrid’s Lightning Strike can now shock targets even when they are not wet.
  • Retuned Walter’s Shockscrap Shots:
    • Around the same against wet targets.
    • Slightly increased damage against dry targets.
    • Slightly lowered damage against electric immune targets.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug with Shockscrap Shots’ electric effects not chaining.
  • Fixed crash when Grass Gators are electrocuted.
  • Fixed bug with Volt Goats not being charged by Electric Fence.
  • Fixed missing art for Wormwood's hat tip emote in the emote wheel.
  • Fixed Pengulls and Moonrock Pengulls missing freeze states.
  • Fixed Baby Beefalo being unable to be frozen.
  • Added missing electrocute states for Gobblers.
  • Fixed Unrestrained Static wandering out of a Moonstorm by itself.
  • Fixed being unable to place down a W.A.R.B.O.T. Base Kit with worlds that had the boss on a cooldown.

Flaming Wormwood sounds absolutely awesome lol.

The change to the blueprint seems kind of weird, but you'll probably have to beat the boss most of the time anyways...

Curious about the details on Shockscrap changes, could be good?

And hey! You guys remember WARBIS gear exists! Could it please get a buff or at least be made accessible pre-rifts? It's quite terrible right now...

Is there anything that'd actually indicate that you could keep searching the pile for this extra blueprint right now?
I feel like him dropping it himself would make it pretty hard to miss, I could see someone just... not searching it anymore once he's out, not realizing there'd be more to gain.

Please, for reasons, allow us to disable void masques with some form of event. You'll be my favorite ever.

Mora

also, mayhaps void and planar damage buff on WARBIS to 10 shadow/planar defense to help with utility late game? :D Ehh???

I really am hoping they add world settings for things like Ickers and Masques, as well as the Rabbit King. It's weird that they just don't have anything, but Jimbo has a toggle option.

yah i think pre rift warbis should defo be a reward, remove the fragment requirement. it sits too awkwardly as an alternate armor to brightshade armor and can be something like dreadstone armor, but a lunar/wagstaff counterpart where you compromise a bit of safety for damage or smth similar

hi, i cant see this, should i defeat Celestial Scion first?

Defeat Daywalker in the caves and when he turns into Scrappy Werepig, it should appear.

If he's Scrappy already and you don't see it, you'll need to wait for him to respawn. It shouuullldddd be before Scion.

EXCELLENT! Finally making fire deadly to our beloved Plant Friend!

This is a compliment, not a critique. This is awesome and I am extremely thankful for this change!

also huge change/buff to WARBIS, worth using now potentially.

A lot of things made with Notional Fabricator should actually be learned directly by players. It would be a waste of time to ask them to go to a very far place to make something basic.

I mean, you can just craft them on bulk, having these kinds of stations its not that annoying when the only things you need to craft at it are this kind of items, of which you only need for very specific tasks. Stuff like projectiles, or anything that is used in an everyday basis its where this sort of crafting can become a problem.

I thought they meant the astral collector thing that starts the cc fight. Would be really annoying to sail all the way to Scion everytime you wanted to fight cc.

Is that one prototyped when at the table?

No, At the station you can craft the blueprint for the uncompleted experiment, but you dont have to craft it there, its like the bps you can crat that pseudo station for the turfs

Please make WARBIS craftable pre rifts, even if it has the exact same stats as it has now, but without needing a shard. IMO It would still not be among the best options of armor for the time, considering:

- The auto-mat-ochanic (the repair kit) drop is rng based
- The materials to craft and repair it could be a bit expensive to upkeep, specially if you rushed it early game (unless you are lunar Winona)
- The boost perks are only good against bosses and they are lost so fast and so often, it’s usually less reliable than dreadstone helm+magi.

Adding a shard could be an upgrade (maybe make the boosting stats drop down much slower?). By that time it needs to compete with losing a specific lunar/shadow set bonus, or the celestial crown itself.

You inspired me to make a teirlist so i can put the warbis headgear in F teir below grass armour.

Dont forget it doesnt boost planar damage, so it is useless abainst riff enemies or with planar weapons.
