Bosses fully healing when deloading is kinda par for the course? Why would you even expect them to not do it?

Because there are no clear indication on which boss heal on reload, which not. Only indication is that if the boss not fully despawned, it wont heal back to full. All DS bosses are like that, and now they start changing that. Like we start learning boss not heal on reload when friendly wood farmer bearger just die if you never heal him. It have clear natural way to heal - eat some things, not just magical healing like werepig and celestial champion.

I played this game way before they add werepig and CC, and no boss heal on reload as long as they not fully despawned. That is kinda expected.

And scrappy werepig healing on reload is kinda different. It doesnt heal to full, but actually have something toggle on make it heal slowly overtime. This cant be toggle if you dont reload pig.

That's just normal. 5 years is just way too much time.

So you suggest me read everything in wiki again in every 5 years? To remember? I know this is wiki game but nobody have time for that. Everyone just read them once and remember what they can for the life, and occasionally come back to read things when they forgot.
Almost all information in the game i know i read it from wiki 10 years ago. That the important stuffs.

Proud of you, boo. Knew you could do it without the training wheels.

Not sure what the point of this thread is, though. It's just reiterating what has already been said in the patch notes thread.

Whos gonna read all the comments in there? Not me. Not many.

And plus in reality no. It's not a wiki game Don't Starve and it's built marvelously to be blind intended. 100% possible in blind (not saying btw that some secrets or blind things are not bad made, aka example shadow quest)

Would’ve been faster for you if you did, since you wouldn’t have to watch a 5 minute boss fight just to get to the updated content.

I'm sure some bosses don't actually heal when deloaded, but I'd be surprised every time if I saw it happening. Healing on deload should be a basic expectation.

Well, as you now mention it... I honestly don't know which bosses it is or is not the case for.  Kinda wild since I've played this game for 5000 hours.

For bosses that despawn/reset, yes, they get all their health back. Like Bee Queen going back into the hive or Dragonfly going up into the sky. I don't think there's any ambiguity there. Klei even emphasized for clarity with some bosses like Antlion, where she stops fighting and starts eating rocks until she becomes passive again. For CC that starts idly walking around the island, I'm not sure if its so obvious. Definitely not obvious that they will end up with more HP than they had at the start of the phase. Meanwhile Bearger never regens his health passively even if you leave him to hibernate.

What about AG? Does he regen?

This thread is hilarious. Health bars do so little that it is just an aesthetic feature. I do agree they'd break a tiny bit of immersion, but a toggle just like what they did with the integrated geometric placement would solve that. I don't get the fire behind defending the lack of it, there are surely harder feats than not being able to see boss health.

I mean, it's not a necessary addition imo, as I said it's just aesthetic, but you can't defend against it saying it makes things easier, 'cause it doesn't.

Nah, you just play the game again, and any time you forget something, you just look up that specific thing again, which is what everyone does.

It's really not that complicated. If you forget which mushrooms are useful and which are Crock Pot fodder, you look them up again when you find them in-game and realize that you no longer remember which are useful and which are fodder.

No. Ag doesn't regen ever because ruins are in a costant early access phase. I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT. It's so disgraceful for Ancient Guardian.

I dont have a crystal ball that tells me "There is a crab king fight buried inside a random update thread. Go watch it."
