Warbot can be wet but is immune to electric damage. (EDIT: more accurate to say immune to the bonus damage from electricity, but that's what the tag is called)
Scion is wet immune.
Both of these are from specific tags, so yes, they're intentional.

We all know that Warly has never been the problem with this recipe. If you were exclusive to Warly or that much less bonus to other characters, Volt Goat Chaud-Froid wouldn't be so broken.

Still gives a reason to suffer through playing Warly for the benefit in a team environment. If you're talking specifically about character-swapping, which basically gives players the best of both worlds, then that's a different problem altogether. Nerfing chaud-froid isn't the way to go about this, imo.

Why are Merms wet and Toadstool and Frogs not?..

Cool boss... Now this unrealistically long fight can't be shortened with gunpowder, warly food...
all that remains is to choose Wolfgang to kill him.

Because as we all know, real life WARBOTs and Celestial Scions are much more fragile than DST depicts them.

In all honesty, the Chaud Froid should have been nerfed long ago. Feel like it has absolutely destroyed a lot of design space for both new items and bosses.

Wolfgang should have been. He gets the same effect for free, before considering that it stacks.

Then they added planar damage, which lowers the effectiveness of damage multipliers. Of course Wolfgang needed free planar damage to account for that. Wouldn't want him losing his lead on the other characters at any point in time.

I mean, I'm not completely against the idea of rebalancing volt goat jelly but nerfing it against a single boss doesn't seem like the play?

I'm not too concerned, honestly. Warly will get some nice planar powder on his skill tree that he can snort before zapping the moon.

I feel like it's not an accident that the boss was introduced and given electricity immunity along with stated plans to introduce a shocked state. I don't think it was a decision to specifically target volt jelly.

I mean, how cool would it have been to be able to use electricity to temporarily stun/overload?

He already loses to Winona in most boss fights. And she doesn't even need Warly foods.

Docks? Yeah Winona is more of an investment, but after the first year of building up my arsenal I can bundle it up and take it with me pretty easily.

Chaud Froid isn't a year-1 food, either. You also need to prep a lot of materials to build a Warly kitchen, and 1 goat horn per boss fight is expensive.

well is a investment thing, some like it and some would rather just fight it normally as wolfgang
