Just a Qol wishlist

A way to close cave entrances or to prevent bat spawns

A storage that preserves alive creatures (birds,butterflies',etc..)

A large storage solution that only accepts equipment/weapons

Bone armor having the same cooldown icon that the back step watch has

Hammering a potter's wheel once to drop all the sketches it has or turn the station into a storage to freely add or remove skeches

Hunts having a chance of spawning a beefalo to prevent extinction/griefing

A toggle option for PC players to have the same equipping behavior that was introduced to console players
 `version 599666 -Equipping items (using DPAD) will swap your currently equipped item back into the same slot as the new item being equipped.`
 
Prevent the player from jumping into ice boats/ice platform while holding the attack button

Pause pirate raids while boss fights are happening to prevent issues with crabking near monkeys

Make so that a bonded beefalo does not get attacked if using forced attack requiring a mouse click to hit it (while holding forced attack)

Make wortox soul hop priorize hopping instead of examining objects/creatures

Attacking bonded beefalos is a massive issue on consoles. Please remove the option to attack a bonded beefalo completely, the rare chance someone is dying of hunger and has to eat Mr Beefcakes while crying profusely, they can just unbond with the beefalo bell and then commence devouring their loyal mount.

i feel like only these suggestions are truly quality of life, the rest ask for new items/features that fix a "problem" instead

with that being said, i do like the rest of the suggestions, and hope that maybe even some of them can make it in game

 pirate raid is just one of the variables in a fight, like sharks and narwhals, which makes ocean more "interesting"/unforgiving. i don't think this is good.

poor mr beefcakes *sniffles and adds a bit of hp sauce*

I had this start happening in a recent run I had. Genuinely super frustrating and one of the times where i didn't feel bad at all using rollbacks

I just want a slot in birdcage to put seeds on it so the bird can eat instead of every ruins cleaning or Celestial champion path I do the birb is ded xD

I know its easy to just catch anotha one but the birb : (

Now this is fire. Died many times due that. Pathfinding works against us when its fighting time I swear

"Hunts having a chance of spawning a beefalo to prevent extinction/griefing" So long as it is similar to Volt Goat spawning restrictions to not really disrupt the general flow (ie only in savanah biome during some seasonal event like how Volt Goats only spawn in Oasis Desert while it is raining)
"Pause pirate raids while boss fights are happening to prevent issues with crabking near monkeys" Yes please tentatively, It is so annoying but understandable as to why it happens, I'd rather just ensure CK can never spawn within radius of the monkey raids.

Just my opinion on the list.

I’ve been playing a lot of other games besides DST lately, and I’ll try to keep this a TLDR: I absolutely love the way Lego Minecraft allows me to rotate, adjust and move things I’m trying to place almost effortlessly.. like I can just tap a direction on the D-pad to move the object a few inches left, right, up or down before confirming placement.

As an Xbox Player who does not have access to PC version Mods, trying to place ANYTHING accurately in DST is a pain in the backside, like you have to walk your character up and down trying to line your fence up with other fences etc, and if you screw up and place it at a wrong angle, you have to craft a fencing sword just to rotate it back.

Look I love DST, I do… but the quest to get furniture, and rotating items not being something we can just do without needing to craft a tool that spoils, structure placement as a whole could use a QOL.

And I’d deeply appreciate it if it worked like tapping a direction in Lego Fortnite to adjust where you want it placed.
