Why I quit DST

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good year so far. I haven't been keeping up with dst for a little while, and i don't intend on playing it in the future either, so this post will be my final feedback. I don't have an actual goal however, and simply want to vent for a bit, and maybe read some replies (if anyone wants to share their opinion on the state of the game)

DST has been one of my favorite games for many years. When I first saw that poster - where Wilson is being stalked by all sorts of bizzare critters, I instantly fell in love with this game's vibe. I've spend over 10k hours playing dst, essentially waisting a full year of my lifespan. But I'm not complaining. I had a lot of fun, and I've met good people. I'm quite the minimalist, a single hobby can entertain me forever. If the game hasn't gotten worse, and at least remained stagnant - I could have probably still enjoyed it to this day.

So, here are a couple of points I'd like to adress, because they've been slowly killing my interest for a while, untill I just couldn't bother to keep playing. If a dst obsessed guy like me quit, they might be worth looking into, klei.

Cheese/glitches fixing

I don't know when it started, or if it has always been the case and I just didn't notice, but Klei has been fixing unintended strategies, exploits, and out-of-your-way glitches for a while. Now, obviously an annoying bug should be fixed in an active video game. Redicilous game breaking glitches that players might accidentally activate should probably go too. But what is the point in fixing deliberately created scenarios? They don't actually bother anyone. People who complain about exploits, and celebrate fixed cheeses on forums don't have a life. I'm sorry to call you out, but that's the only reason you behave so. I'm not any different, I've always said that dragonfly wall method should be fixed, and gave a bunch of meaningless excuses to pretend that I'm actually affected by what other players do. I never was. "Multiplayer game", "public server rushers",  "dragonfly deserves better", "people will love fair method once they'll try" and my favorite one: "if a glitch exists - I am forced to use it". Nonsence. I just wanted to feel superior for always fighting dragonfly fairly while other players relied on easier methods. I'm above avarage player, where is my medal? No, it never affected me that other players used strats I dislike. Even that one time when I invited people to fight dragonfly, and in the end got kicked by them for refusing to cheat - that wasn't cheese's fault. I was just obnoxious and started breaking walls instead of excepting that some people don't want to play my way and it's not something to do a tantrum over.

People often miss the point and say it's not a big deal whenever something is fixed, because "there are other methods, strats and and also what are you, a noob? Why are you relying on cheese, you bad player, I'm better, be ashamed". But I disagree. The fixes have been snowballing for quite a while, and on top of that, they send a very bad message - creativity is not welcomed. You can be creative in other ways, but it's not the same as finding a new glitch, or seeing someone say "wow, I never knew you could do that". Those were my 2th favorite fandom interactions, right after nedlessly personal ego battles of who's game strategy is better. I noticed that crab king spawns new sea stacks if you leave fight. Why would he do that? There's only one logical explanation - devs want us to do something with them. But the only thing you can do is put sea flowers onto it. Sure enough, it works, and they even help fighting him. This dosen't feel like a discovery. It's way too deliberate, too bland, too obvious. Cheeses are great even if I learned them from someone else, because they are a community discovery, to make game more fun for everyone. I saw so many amazing unintended strategies for the bosses from a certain cool guy that won't be mentioned in this post, and I started to LOVE dst bosses purely because they are so bad they encourage creativity the devs never ha while designing them.

Here are a few random fixed glitches I still remember and am butthurt over:

Bee queen boat method. Luring bee queen on a boat prevented her from running away, allowing players to tank her and finish the fight faster, or something. I never even tried this strategy, since it seemed hardly better than having no strategy at all, and now Ill never get to try it - because it dosen't exist anymore. Why is that? What are klei fighting for? What is the goal? Is dst such a good game right now that there is litteraly nothing else to fix? I remember someone said on forums that because bee queen's gimmick is the slowing honey trail, they are glad this cheese was fixed. But apparently for like 8 or so years noone realized that the honey trail does nothing at all. @Guille6785 did, and after I've learned this from him I desided to mention it on forums just to beat previously mentioned user in an argument to prove him wrong. As a result the trail was fixed immediately after. And what a good job klei did. Now it slows down everything, including duelists and insanity monsters, ruining 2 legit and difficult strategies I really liked. Did they fix that yet? I don't know, I left a bug report forever ago but I guess fixing fun ones is top priority. Thanks, klei. Point is, I snitched on an almost decade old glitch and it got patched immediately. This is a terrible message to the community. If you know a cool unintended strategy don't share it with anyone. Don't make fun interesting videos, don't interact with fandom, don't trade your discoveries, Quit having fun, and make a skill tree guide explanation video instead.

fuelweaver lureplant method. What even is there to say? People want to cheese fuelweaver. Who the hell cares? You can get him stuck on dreadstone pillars instead now, and I have a sneaky suspicion that this is litteraly the only reason they fixed lureplants. Devs have runned out of creative juice, and now they need to delete old strategies to pretend that they added something useful. Is that it?

wardrobe and codex cheats. Some sort of console commands that worked even if you weren't admin. One let's you change your apperance to different characters and the other allowed everyone to use Maxwell spell book (but only with 1 clone). Do klei not care about veterans? This is the kind of small goofy stuff that keeps us entertained. Just messing around, maybe pranking a few newbies. I remember picking Wolfgang and then changing my apperance to Wes, which only worked in neutral form. Then I'd walk up to players and say that wolfgang always needs to be in mighty form, or else he'll litteraly turn into Wes. And then I would actually shrink into one. Got the whole squad laughing. I also really liked wortox, but man is he uuuuuugly. It was so good to play him while looking like a normal person. I don't know who would report this bug, but I guess some people were really really confused and upset. Klei could have at least make the glitch client sided but they removed it fully, and this complaint isn't new but haven't been acknowledged. "Quit having unintended fun, enjoy our intended fun instead."? I would, if you'd make something good for once.

codex glitch was found by competitive pvp nerds and naturally because pvp is so rage inducing - someone had to complain about it on forums. Oh, so now klei cares about pvp? But when I asked for braindead gimmick of the flute to be removed - I'm the clown for even mentioning pvp, despite the fact that it's a 5 seconds fix to make players immune, much like they are immune to bombs now (also, you forgot pvp again, klei, and bombs don't damage players there either now). I don't care about pvp balance, I don't care about Maxwell's identity crisis. I had a shadow worker that would collect grass, as any character. KLEI, you pretend that this isn't an issue worthy of addressing for years, and then you give a character exclusive perks to woodie and Wanda that make this animation slightly faster. like it's some kind of upside, and not a quality of life feature that everyone should have had 10 YEARS AGO. I will make a 100 hour loop of harvest/crafting animation, and I want devs to do a reaction video on the next stream. make sure to watch this amazing gameplay in it's full glory, because this is what you forced me to watch for years. Or you could just fix something that matters for once!!!

Wanda stunlocking enemies. You can't do anything right?! You screwed everything up! And have you cleaned it up yet? For instance, I could have killed ice hounds in such a way that walrus ends up frozen, and then I would kill him. High skill play right there very satisfying to pull off. Nope! now he breaks free, and game's AI is garbage - he cannot be chased and caught because he always runs in the opposite side of player, so I'm force to chase him out of bounds. Then he gets a brain fart and starts ignoring player completly to walk home. Wow! You sure have made the game better, klei. Again, thank you so much for fixing Wanda.

The devs frustrate me a lot with how out of touch they are. I hate every single cheese fix, i hate that sharing info is punished now, I wish this game would have been dead instead. I've played 20+ year old games resently that haven't been updated ever and they are beatiful with all of their glitches and bugs and still have an active community, that makes amazing mods. They actually care for QoL, and when they fix bugs, they actually FIX THEM. But I don't use patches, because I don't need them. When I want to - I use exploits, and when I don't want to - I just don't. Who would have thought that freedom is fun???

terraria wannabe hardmode

The rifts stuff is not fun. First of all, the light vs shadow theme is lame. This is the kind of stuff a teenager comes up with. Instead of designing creative items or enemies it's just plant/glass or black goo/glow/rock stuff. The theme is ugly and uncreative. In terraria corruption and hollow are biomes, that ironically don't intrude the game, despite spreading. All the gross red stuff is in a biome and it all feels like one organism connected with itself. Rifts are all over the place, they infected everything and made it all worse. It's a lobster but with a spooky mask and that's not a new boss, just a deercorpe. The items are just as bad. What happened with leg birds, lightning goats Rock eating snale/turtles, cute monke with infinite teeth, swamp tentacles that you can use as weapons, hambats and football hats? Why couldn't you just add something that fits constant, and kept all the moon and shadow stuff where they belong  - ruins and moon island.

Lore is dead. Or is it just me? I don't belive anything klei say nowdays. It's all retcon, all made up on the spot. Deerclops is female? Always has been. Yeah, sure... sure it was. And wx78 was always a human and a they/them at that. I don't wanna touch the whole "woke" thing, belive whatever you want guys. But I can't pretend to care what Charlie's or Wagstaff's end game is or what their origin is, if it's basically a fanfiction at this point. It's been 10 years, how about you wrap it up already klei, and just tell me that the obviously evil eyeball is actually evil. I've been a fnaf fan before the game blew up (weird flex I know) and it reminds me of dst in terms of lore. There is no lore, there are only hints to create mystery, but the actual answers don't exist. What is golden freddy? Unused Sprite recolored for an Easter egg jumpscare. What is Charlie? A survival game mechanic. Their origin is an afterthought, but Klei did things right, and revealed Charlie's backstory very early on and in a fun way. It's too late now to introduce Wagstaff, They/Them and Winona. You have no idea what to do with those after so many years, and it's blaintly obvious.

Also, quality of life features are the reward. We get them once in a while and that's good. But while other people celebrate, the reaction I always have is this:

Sorry for being so negative, but I just can't celebrate a quality of life feature that was supposed to be added forever ago, and not only is it shamelessly late, it dares to ask for demands. I need to beat final boss to have a normal working chest? Are you @#$%& for real right now? I used to cringe from seeing people using absurd mods like extra equip slots, storage units, instant harvesting and 999 stacks. I can't belive it... after 10k hours I finally realized that those people were right all along, and I NEED these in order to enjoy the game. People always go on defence and say "stop complaining and use mods" well, here is my reply: stop updating the game, klei. it might mess mods up and they are better than anything you add.

Lastly, empty and pointless. Rift content is locked behind end game. Am I supposed to belive that eventually dst hardmode will be a complete experience, and should just let klei cook? Like ocean? Like caves? I'll die of old age before klei finish any of these. I still have 100 complaints about "Return of Tides" collection but they'll never be addressed, that ship has sailed. Who are these updates for then? Beginners can't interact with them, for a veteran... I don't even know, there are these slimes that block your path except not really. What am I supposed to do with that other than get swallowed, test the gimmicks and then loose interest in this content forever. This isn't entirely Klei's fault. The game is complete, and there's nothing to add. In terraria you get loot to beat bosses, to unlock areas, to get loot to fight stronger bosses to- you get it. Dst is a survival game. You get loot to not die. You beat bosses to get loot. You explore to get loot. Why would anyone activate rifts? For rewards? You can't add a reward to a finished game. We already have everything we need. So you introduce new disasters with rifts. And that's why players have such a low tolerance for all the annoying things from acid to brightshades. Because we are torturing ourselves for no real reason. That, and also because klei have no idea how to manage balance between obnoxious and irrelevant dangers.

New bosses

Too easy. Too basic. That's all.

"Fun" but useless

The fishing, winter feast, holloween, the summer thing, and the Chinese new year. I'm not here to tell you that pointless fun is bad. No wait, that's exsactly what I wanna say. Why is it that the characters keep growing stronger and stronger to an absurd degree, but the devs shake in their boots the moment something "fun" is accidentally slightly useful for once. Remember year of the bunnymen? The food was supposedly good, and even if it's a once in a 12 years event, klei had to rush to make sure price was so inflated noone could actually use it as a food source.

Fishing is useless because it's for fun. The winter feast magic dinner table can't actually be used as a decent food source because it's for fun. Winning summer games rewards you with popcorn and decorations because it's for fun. Halloween gives candies for trinkets because it's fom fun. I AM NOT HAVING FUN. What happened with the good old days where doing fun things included a reward? Sleeping under a tree gave people canes, flutes, moggles and gems, and gift wraps are just bundles but better! Can you imagen klei adding anything remotely as rewarding nowdays? Am I just too old for this game now?

And in the opposite way, these fun things refuse to kick players in their tentacle spots for some reason. Are you actually telling me bunnymen will tolerate meat eaters during a holiday? How could you disrespect radical vegans like that? I'm frankly offended and upset. Maybe those are the pacifists, but I feel like if you're gonna make a bunnymen culture themed holiday, you could have at least made them react to the biggest cultural taboo. And again, thank you for adding sleeping hats as a reward, I always wanted to use tent without staring at at the screen for 2 minutes wondering why I even play this game, and now i still can't do that but at least i get a little bit more sanity.

Also, I've been waiting for dragonfly year for 5 years. I knew it was gonna happen and I had high hopes. But even if I had zero expectations, I would have still been dissapointed by what I was given. I haven't seen year of the worm and I already know it's just little nonsence that'll get me bored in 5 minutes, and as a reward I'll get some slightly different version of a thing that already exists. If there were rewards I would actually like doing these mini games more than once.

Character reworks

Oh. my. God. At least you could have given up halfway with the reworks. With skill trees however the difference between characters who have and don't have them is on the nose. Why would you trap yourself like that? Characters are frustrating to use, they have flaws (not downsides) and they could always use a tweak. That's not a reason to add skill trees. They are extremely overwhelming too. Back when I was obsessed, I enjoyed them. Then I took a break from dst, and when I came back Winona had a tree. And it was so freaking obnoxious to read all this crap to try and figure out which skills are must have and which are utterly useless. I can't imagen how fresh player would feel, if a couple of months break would make ME not want to engage with trees at all. They're also never balanced and could use a re-re-rework. I have no idea what happened with Wendy, all I know is that people are not happy with skill trees again.

What a terrible idea. Give it up. Remove the skill trees, only let Wilson have one. Make the quality of life stuff automatic, throw away the rest. As for affinity, it has no reason to exist. I already said, "joining" a "guild" is so lame. I'm not interested in eldritch horror politics.

That's just my opinion tho.

Quality of life

Okay, this text is pointlessly long already, so let's wrap this up. Like i mentioned before, Klei are very reluctant to add quality fo life things without some sort of a "screw you" as if we have to EARN good game design. People complained about shroom lights for years and how they are buffed. But... not enough, and with terms and conditions some players won't agree on (I'm not farming CC I don't care) and even if their range would be increased and they'll work with fireflies or something - I never needed them to begin with! I can use star callers. What's with this attitude? I haven't killed toadstool once in the first 4k hours of playing this game and you're gonna keep pretending that everything is fine? That the lamp is good enough? That you've done enough? It's never enough. Why are you so stubborn? What are you afraid of? That people will kill big frog and trivialize very important danger of darkness? That they'll have no reason to fight CC more than once? You know why I fought CC more than once? Because he was a fun boss. You know why i started to hate him? I had to fight him 10 times in a row because i wanted to built a cute road with lamps. What an unbelievable waste of time. Building in this game is depression inducing. I feel sorry for megabasers. If you want to do chores - get an actual job that pays money. I'm just joking. As long as you are having fun grinding shard - go for it.

The end.

Thanks for reading I suppose, I know that some of these complaints are silly and old, and I shouldn't even care anymore, but I just felt like doing a goodbye vent. Seems like in the middle of this rant I begain to pretend I'm talking with Klei, so this ended up being nothing more than a shower mind fight where I completly destroyed them with criticism and won, so now they'll make dst great again. Sorry if I was needlessly agressive, especially if the game has been fixed while i wasn't looking.

Lastly, i would like to apologize to anyone who remembers me. I was probably the most annoying and toxic forum user, and for absolutely no reason too. Sorry for spreading hostility :p

Okay, bye.

Okay, bye.

I share the same feelings, I don't think it's something i'm going to play again either despite the thousands of hours i've put in.

It was fun whilst it lasted but Klei just don't measure up anymore to competitors, we've got teams much smaller than the DST team making much more complex games and having significantly better creative control.

They should just sell the IP, this can't be fun to do for them anymore, they can't pilot the ship - they should let someone else.

Bro, I know how you feel. I agree with every single thing you said even the "they/them" and woke parts (actually I hold a even stronger stance on that stuff than you do probably, but I won't bother mentioning it on this forums)

The game for me is practically dead, I only stick around for the sole purpose of modding it as a hobby and I find myself a lot of times just modding stuff out that Klei added into the game just to be able to somewhat enjoy the game because the stuff they add is so cringe to me. Like those gelblob ink creatures which block path I removed every single trace of them from the game because they are so cringe and I do so many more changes like that.

In general I find all the "end game" content Klei added as stupid and cringe, the rift stuff is all very lame and the amount of time it takes to get to there all thanks to the stupid garbage pearl npc makes me actually only have only done it once in the 8k+ hours I've played this game. Maybe, if pearl was killable and I could get that pearl out of her death and she drop her head or a tail or something I can craft a prototyper with to make her items it would be better, but all thanks to her it makes all the end game content a chore and boring to even bother trying to get to (and this is not even touching on how rift is garbage in general and ruins the world with cringe "lunar disease taking over the world!!!11" stuff which ruins immersion even more of the survival part of the game for me)

The biggest thing that killed the game for me is Klei forgot (or more like purposefully ruining) what Don't Starve is, a survival game. They don't balance the game at all anymore and they treat it as if it's a rpg game with building and survival mechanics. The level system they added for characters was the final nail in the coffin for me pretty much, I remember the old days when people would shame others for playing mod characters because "mod characters are OP!!!" and now look at the vanilla characters, they are more OP than 99% of all the mod characters.. but like I said, Don't Starve Together isn't a survival game anymore, it's now just an rpg game with building and survival mechanics that's main reason for existing is to just sell the 9999+ skins that exist for the game.

I find myself playing Don't Starve (Alone) occasionally and unlike Don't Starve Together I actually genuinely enjoy the time I spend playing on the game because it's actually a survival game and feels like how Don't Starve should feel, it had no cringe immersion breaking stuff, it had no cringe story, it had no cringe immersion breaking holiday events, and most importantly it had no cringe skin microtransactions and it's DRM-free too which is icing on the cake.

I could go on and on more just like you did, but there's no real point for me to make a rant here too on your rant lol. It really is sad, Don't Starve is in my top 3 favorite games of all time and Don't Starve Together used to be my number one, but ever since the updates kept steering away from survival game content when they pushed out the update adding the ocean and moon island it gets worse and worse over time now it's my 5th most favorite game and if somehow they make the game worse by doing something like dropping mod support or monetizing it even more I may just give up...

Really just like you, I wish they had the mercy to just allow all the game's "main updates" to be able to be selected in as a Steam beta thing so people could play what version of the game they liked best, I would personally go back to before all this leveling system and maybe even rift nonsense was added and I would be happy just playing the game like that forever, there updates just make me lose more interest in the game I would prefer a game that doesn't get updated ever again. Of course they will never do that because that would harm skin sales probably and can't have that, I might have to just resort to getting an older version of the game cracked eventually with the way things are going, I can't even imagine what would they add to the game that isn't a stupid character refresh or rework anymore it's all they do for years now, whatever it is, it definitely won't be content to make the game feel like an uncompromising survival game anymore and even if it was with how all the characters are demigod OP mod characters now it doesn't even matter because willow can just kamehameha what ever survival content comes her way or wurt has an army of hundred merm guards that take barely any damage from even bosses or winona can just craft a dozen catapults to destroy anything

You say
The price of my love's not a price that you're willing to pay
You cry
In your tea, which you hurl in the sea when you see me go by

Why so sad?
Remember, we made an arrangement when you went away
Now, you're making me mad
Remember, despite our estrangement, I'm your man

You'll be back, soon, you'll see
You'll remember you belong to me
You'll be back, time will tell
You'll remember that I served you well
Oceans rise, empires fall
We have seen each other through it all
And when push comes to shove
I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love!

Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da, dat, dat, da-ya-da
Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da, dat, dat, da-ya

You say our love is draining, and you can't go on
You'll be the one complainin' when I am gone
And no, don't change the subject
'Cause you're my favorite subject
My sweet, submissive subject
My loyal, royal subject
Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever

You'll be back like before
I will fight the fight and win the war
For your love, for your praise
And I'll love you 'til my dying days
When you're gone, I'll go mad
So don't throw away this thing we had
'Cause when push comes to shove
I will kill your friends and family to remind you of my love

Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da, dat, dat, da-ya-da
Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da, dat- everybody!

Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da, dat, dat, da-ya-da
Da-da-da, dat-da, dat, da-da-da, da-ya-da
Da-da-da, dat, da-ya-da-ah

All of that bellyaching and you somehow just had to throw in an extremely pointless jab about...Deerclops' gender, of all things. How utterly pointless.

It's not to argue about genders. It's just that I'm not amused with lore and world building hints that were dropped in the item descriptions. It's the same thing with the world being called "constant" out of nowhere. Any time a terraria youtuber says "he" someone would show up to give trivia, but the trivia is only fun if it means something. It just gave me fnaf flashbacks of the dev obviously making stuff up and the fandom being hyped. But I feel nothing at all. The build up to the reveal wasn't there. First description then quote then it's cannon.

Deerclops is simply the best exsample of retcon, because Maxwell made him and calls him a guy. Wurt disagrees? Sure, why not. But then woodie also starts to call deerclops a "she" when inspecting corpse. how did he find out? He didn't, it's just new canon. Nothing klei say lore wise is true now to me, but deerclops may very well be female for all I care. Same with robot, it's not the gender that bugs me. It's that he is also a human apperanetly. Says who?

Oh, hamlet is such a good game I should have tried it sooner! It's very small but I feel like don't starve benefits from that. It's a game where you survive 4 seasons and call it a day. Hamlet's 4th "season" was incredible to beat, since i knew nothing about the game. And finding new islands not knowing how many there are was also fantastic. I also really liked how simple the characters were, so the focus was on the content instead.

I suddenly feel like dst content has been trying to artificially create the feeling that there's more stuff to do, when in reality more stuff includes just waiting for pearl quests conditions or for rifts to spawn. What is this? Clash of clans?

Trust me, a silent majority of people agree with everything you wrote, its just that klei has committed to this direction and there is nothing we as players can do besides quit or keep playing.

The forums are an echo chamber of people that just want to hear that klei is doing great, that is what's killing this community.

We all agree that the skilltrees are char reworks 2.0 and they are milking this for years now, its just we have to accept it or just quit like you are doing.

It's tencent's game at the end of the day, nothing we can do.

ay no hate or anything towards u
but i hate this kind of post. i mean if u want gone then go. its been 4 hours since u post this and u replied and this keep popping up at top.
is this one of post that im leaving dst but not ds or any forum DST thead thingy ? :distress: pls no, just go

While I agree with some of it, there is a lot I also disagree with. I've gone over bugs being exploited and cheese strategies can nullify the developer's intentions with their game so I won't reiterate it here. I agree with the Terraria Hardmode Wanabe. Post CC/FW is kind of weird especially with the balance of everything. The updates have continued to push DST to a combat driven game when the combat is very basic and has not been changed since the release of Don't Starve way back in the earliest inceptions. The lore bit confuses me but that is personal preference. Getting into the pronouns outed you. So good riddance. I agree with the character rework portion though. Hate skill trees the way they are implemented.

Honestly my biggest reason for wanting to “quit” DST has been that it’s hard to find people to play the game “Together” with, and that makes the entire game harder than the developers intended for it to be. Bosses have ridiculous amounts of health, and attacks that would be spread out against a group of players, target the only player playing (like how the twins of terror dash between the players rather than mounting an all out assault on one person the entire time) even smaller things like the Rabbit King made the game pure frustrating for me, I have only beat this boss by luring him to a horde of Beefalo, otherwise He… and his 3 endlessly spawning minions chase you across the entire map without ever losing Aggro on You.

It made me realize I’d rather go play Minecraft with a bunch of Add-Ons active to simulate the Dont Starve experience, because at least in that game: Fighting mobs feels like they’re scaled to one player.

Skill Trees do help a little.. such as Willows Combustion to set an area on fire, but honestly if Klei is going to allow us to host offline single player worlds: Content and World Difficulty should scale down to match that.

can we please get a short version of this?

Yes.

I don't care for new lore, late game content, new bosses, and boring holiday events. I hate that klei fix exploits instead of adding more QoL. And I'm tired of character reworks.

I should also mention how the game use to function fairly decently on an Xbox controller but they keep changing things and making that less enjoyable, I am NOT looking forward to having my vital on screen information constantly cluttered up with Abigail’s new Command menu.

I know, right? Why be so dramatic and make a whole show out of leaving, making a wall of meaningless text and then continue to reply to everyone, clearly checking forums every few hours for new replies. So obnoxious when people do that, like they never even planned to leave and just want attention. And you can't ignore those posts either because every time they reply, the post moves upwards and we are forced to see their annoying aye catching dramatic nonsence title once again. It just makes me want to reply to those people and tell them to actually leave already, because they are so annoying. No personal hate to those people, in fact, no hate at all. I feel like this speaks more about what kind of person I am rather than about them, and I may have spend too much of my free time on forums, if I managed to get annoyed by a simple post. Not like it actually hurt anyone, after all.
