I really dislike the Planchette overlay on Wendy's Skill Tree

This is probably just a me thing, but it feels like it doesn't fit very well and looks really awkward. Overlays like this are not typical on any other skill tree, and while that in itself is fine the delayed movement on the planchette and the size are both really distracting and doesn't blend well. I know this is to appeal with the visual changes desired for Wendy, but I feel as if I'd prefer if it wasn't there

It's not like the biggest deal overall, I'd understand if other people liked it

I agree that its really annoying, and also some mods cause it to desync and not be lined up properly with the mouse. I get what they're going for, and it's a cool touch, but I prefer being able to see the skill tree.

I get the complaint though. But I like it~

Wendy players are all about aesthetics, vibe and lore

They would probably give up using their mouse if Wendy got a full on animated series

it should at the very least be transparent, and smaller.

I don't mind it as is, but yeah it could probably fit better aestehtically with the tree.

It's basically a tradeoff between gameplay vs aesthetics/character lore.

Typically, gameplay should be the #1 priority, however you're going to be spending 0.001% of your time in the skill tree screen and the skill tree UI is the last thing you see before spawning in which sort of "sets the theme" for the character. Therefore I think they should keep it even though it's worse than the usual UI from a functional standpoint.

I like it, sets the bar a little higher in terms of how unique skill tree are built for characters, lots of personality in that one - but yeaaah it’s huge. It would be nice to get a config to disable these, even if it’s only useful for Wendy rn it can help on later ones and for modded skilltrees

I like it, I think it is cool, but it is really large and slightly clunky.

I'm surprise folks are just saying they dislike it instead of asking for it to be optional.

I love it, I'd love a setting or a 'slot' to place it in on the side so you can have it away when you want to view the tree by itself, though!
And maybe a size decrease or toggle, too.

A little holder is in my opinion one of the better ideas I've heard next to making it transparent. Except the skill tree is already pretty graphically crowded so I'm not sure that room can be made for a holder.
