I'd say it's pretty affordable! Unlike reviving Butterlfies *cough* *cough*

Also, the active one gives off a faint area of glowing light (other ones placed do not, sadly). You can Attune to one placed for 40 hp, the same how you can Attune to Meat Effigies.

Plus you have this cute little indicator (it's with Combined Status mod)

and this button when you die

And you crawl out of the ground upon using it.

Hmm love the design, the two new items are immaculate aesthetically, but I do hope it gets something to give it a different function to the effegy. I think having keep inventory while attuned is the best answer, to reference being buried with valuables, but who knows how hard that would be to implement.

I'd like it to be much more expensive but don't break upon resurrecting. You'd only have to Attune for 40 hp and it's as good as it was.

Maybe even offer it a Telltale Heart instead of classic Attunement to differentiate it from ordinary Meat Effigies.

It could also work as a Touch Stone, so you'd have to haunt it to resurrect yourself and offer it a Telltale Heart to regenerate it.

I'd love that actually. I think an offering of MG moght be more appropriate though? But that would also let it be a permanent fixture when designing Wendys graveyard.

Maybe make that a suggestion post, i havent seen much discussion about the altar.

Besides its lierally called the eternal Altar

Well, yes :D

I actually think it should be adorned with Petals, but they should never spoil. Just like they should not spoil in the Sisturn or on Gravestones adorned with Grave Beautification. But since they do rot or disappear, I wouldn't like that.

Maybe Wendy could adorn all those structures with 3 Petals and use 1 Mourning Glory to kind of preserve it and root the Petals for good, just like she uses Mourning Glory to resurrect the Butterfly.

Would be cool if we could adorn something with petals, then use that thingy that makes plants safe from the lunar possession thingy to make the petals permanent.

... I really forgot the names, but uhn... That thing people use in plants in their post-rifts bases if they want to decorate the base without it being destroyed by that invading plant thingy that attacks you. Being able to use that in decorated sisturn/gravestone would be cool.

1) whats Wendys current max dps compared to wolfgang, and probably more significantly, willow?

copied from one post back at the chinese forum, roughly means that,

Wolfgang+scythe=389dps

Wolfgang+scythe+CC crown =404dps

Wendy+war saddle+battle beefalo+CC crown=425dps

Wendy+war saddle+battle beefalo+CC crown+two potions+murdering creatures=dps575

The dps is merely theoretical, CC crown is up all the time, and Wolfgang doesn't get his 30% damage buff with dummies

So comparable to wolfgang and comfortably out dsps willow.  No complaints here considering the investment needed to reach tjat state.

Actually this is why I don't like the design of shadow Abi. It simply made the numbers bigger, makes her deals bosses that she already can easily deal with even more easily, while she's still vulnerable and powerless to post rift bosses.

2 questions if someone could check.

2) what is the cost of the grave and how does it differ from a meat effegy?

for Q2, 40HP, 10 mourning glories and cut stone

How much damage does gestat abigail do now?

75, 125, 200, same as regular abi when dashing( 15, 25, 40).  and the lunar potion only increase 50 now

True, post rift scaling is probably needed, but im talking about the general level.

A video posted in 11.22 showed that,

Wendy+hambat+normal Abigail=roughly 200dps

Wendy+hambat+lunar Abigail=roughly 212dps

That does sound like a bit too little for Lunar Abigail... She probably needs to get some of the damage back to compensate for the lack of AoE.

Doesn't need to reach Shadow Abigail's levels, but a 6% dps boost doesn't feel like enough to me for the Lunar version.

Well the video was posted in 11.22, the test was made with the first version of lunar Abi, though, I fear that the dps would be even less with current lunar Abi.

Gestalt Abigail doing 6% more damage than normal Abigail seems perfectly set up.  The point of Gestalt Abigail is to be able to stay alive and continue providing the petal debuff and working with Wendy while fighting a boss.  6% is not a lot when you are hitting a dummy, but the difference is that normal Abigail would stand still in front of the boss and die quickly and then do 0 damage while the boss loses the petal debuff, leaving Wendy weak and making the damage way lower.  Gestalt Abigail is meant to fix this by providing survivability while maintaining similar damage and petal upgime, and her current survivability works well if Wendy is actively participating in taking aggro.

She is available in the first Autumn and should not be a massive damage buff, but rather an alternate boss fighting form for Abigail.

Shadow Abigail should instead be the one getting tuned to make the choice not so one-sided.

As I said, the test was performed with the first version of skilltree, current dps should be lower than that, considering that both Abigail's damage and attack frequencey are now lower.

You're probably refering to Embalming Spritz, but I'd rather have something permanent before such a late game...

Let's say you can upgrade the Sisturn, Gravestones, and the new Perennial Altar adding 3 Petals and 1 Mourning Glory. When upgraded it just has flowers growing on it, end of topic. If you hammer it or dig the Gravestone up you get 2 Petals back.

And in my suggestion Perennial Altar would have to be upgraded each time someone resurrects using it, probably because they damage the flowers when crawling out of the dirt beneath ;)

Ah if it is actually lower now than the 6% then I agree that it should be tuned to around there. Which video are you referring to?

Agree that this looks like the old patch since Abigail is doing 400 damage each hit.  The issue is that the petal debuff is wearing off too quickly before Abigail can attack again (you can see the damage of each ham bat hit drop from 67 to 43).  Assuming that is fixed (which they in fact did increase vex duration for lunar Abigail with this patch), then the damage would be higher.  With that fixed, the current Gestalt Abigail should be doing about equal damage per second to normal Abigail (although getting a tiny bit of extra damage added back doesn't seem bad to go from equal to +10% or something).

Reference the videos on the second page of the thread below where current patch Gestalt Abigail is shown to still do slightly more damage per second than normal Abigail because of the petal duration fix despite the damage adjustment.  (Klei balanced the damage removal with the petal addition pretty much exactly to keep the total damage equivalent from last patch).  Seems like it is pretty well balanced and Shadow Abigail just needs to be tuned a bit.
