I desperately want Hamlet content in DST but…

Recommended Posts

direct ports are just not happening.

Best you can hope for is mechanics that ressemble DS1 content, like the great worm vs pugalisk.

it's honestly a miracle that we got a few things directly from SW, many years ago. I suspect klei will not do this again.

Not if you add hamlet houses to dst
(klei please)

She is dressed as a princess because she is the princess. She is as out of place as wheeler, warbucks, woodless or walani

Just adding houses wont fix that

I feel hamlet houses to live at would be a bit out of place in DST.
However, I’d like a more complex trading system, or an area that is more “civilized” than the rest of the map, where you can go, and do some trading.

Perhaps a new island, where you can’t build or destroy, and if you cause mayhem (like attacking its inhabitants) they’ll just kick you out , or not trade with you for a while.

It's intriguing how everyone mention those, what about warly ? that guy is a complete random..

Warly and wormwood have good team cooperation. Rest of the characters don't imo except for wilba. But I don't think she needs to be added

Because he's the one chef in a game about not starving. I think he makes more sense than most characters.

I feel like this is the role filled by the players for DST. In a long term public world you might get different camps eventually trading supplies or naturally creating the closest thing DST can get to civilizations over time.

It would be hilarious if NPC's would vote kick you for being annoying.

Wolgang can dress like a princess too. The game has skins.

Aside from having perfect perks for a MP game...he isnt cosplaying, is just wearing regular cloths and his job is being simply a chef. He fits as well as willow or wilson

I want to build a pig village and I want to tax them and horde all the wealth. I don’t really care about interiors or honestly all the other Hamlet content. I just really want to city build and enforce a villainous tax code

Yeah uhh I just want to add that there are several skins you can buy that turn the Pigmen and Bunnymen houses into looking like they were pulled straight out of Hamlet.

So people aren’t actually wanting hamlet houses in DST, they’re wanting “interiors” which isn’t the same thing.

But the lame excuse that “doesn’t fit the RoG aesthetics” Is a worn out one.

Skins exist, and because of that- My Pigmen houses can look like Woodies Cabin or a Creepy Gothic Cathedral.

As far as Wilba being added to the game, I imagine they could make being a Werewolf far more fun then it was in Solo DS-

As in just spitballing ideas here-

Enraged Mode, Using Supernatural Strength, can use her Wereclaws to temporarily hack trees or rip resources out the ground without needing any tools. (No need for axe or shovel) oh and obviously fast walk speed cause #Werewolf.

Nightvision- Self explanatory, but with WX78 permanently having it after upgrading, Wendy permanently having it (thanks to Abby),  and also probably Webber getting it too in his yet to be released skill tree…

Then WereWilba should have Night Vision.

But TL:DR- If Klei was to bring her to DST, they need to be creative with it rather than just porting over outdated characters.

Warly perfect ? Okay.. we certainly won't gonna agree here, he can be many things but perfect is way too much

? We can disagree on balance but you can deny that a chef sharing food is way better and fitting for a game like dst than a facy pig with imba woodie perks, a wilson with a surfboard to walk on water or a 16th century looking pirate...

And gladly they added it since is one of the very few interesting characters (until they ruin him with the skill tree)

We alredy had so many crazy chars i don't see why not, my problem with Warly is that he is the only one who made in.. as for his playstyle, you sound like a experienced player or someone who just have fun with him, good for you but other people with diferent tastes play the game as well. As for his skilltree, i don't play him, but he seems a cool char with the exception that you have to vary your menu to have almost no return.. What does he offer that someone couldn't do better ?

Having variety is good and for that there are other characters

Isnt about what he does better, in videogames like this not always is about picking the best option.  That can be boring for some players

I agree with you there, just wished players could get more value of using his exclusive dishes.
