I myself crafted it at one of the celestial altars in my world. I’m not sure if champ needs to be killed or not (since it is in my world), though I highly doubt it would require that, so it should just need any altar/empowered orb.

Shadow pieces are a boring time gated fight, and the fact that we have to defaet them multiple times for new stuff is not that nice.

The lack of any changes for finding the Atrium is really disappointing for me.

If you're lucky you can find the right tentapillar, easy. If you're unlucky, it can be a couple hours of tedium where you have to reveal 90% of a nearly empty, repetitive map.

The new icker jar that was added in this update is pretty neat. Its collected by using a empty bottle (the treasure bottles) on icker gel blobs when the icker is damaged. Its not only a crafting ingredient for the icker preserve kit, but also acts as a throwable pool of icker gel slowdown against enemies.

The bottle is sadly broken upon being thrown though, and since collecting bottles usually involves a long period of waiting (sitting in ocean, waiting for Crab King/Marotter respawn), I can't imagine this being used in a general combat setting.

Ahhh, this looks so fun! Returning to the big updates instead of the smaller, micro-updates that were the norm for a while really makes me want to dive in to all of this new content and gets me amped up when it comes out!

Turn Weavable filter off? Or disable year of the beefalo event?

What is an Icker Preserve Kit?

What's also interesting about the icker preserve kit is when it is deconstructed, the icker jars are "broken" and nightmare fuel is given in its place, assuming the jar broke and nightmare fuel leaked all over. This means that icker preserve kits cannot be mass produced, and are entirely dependent on how many bottles the world is willing to give you which is usually pretty limited. I feel like the recipe for this kit should be a bit cheaper as it requires two hard to acquire materials from the surface and caves (5 Dreadstone is still quite expensive for me, since I don't like using duping strats/character swap strats like the werebeaver tail slap wall breaking method).

Also going by this same logic as deconstruction breaking the bottle since its fragile, shouldn't growth formula starter kits also have their bottles broken when deconstructed, for currently they don't?

You get empty bottles back when crafting it, so it can be mass produced.

This possessed atrium heart seems like a lot of work for no reason. Also, why do we not have some magical tech to tame our beefs faster?

And the new attack animation looks kinda weird.
