I found a person who have the idea to add Clay to DST, they on reddit.

This would be a required material to make Hamlet-style pig houses in DST for an update finale when DST finally retires and gives us the "Home Retirement" update when we all are 60 years old.

We will be megabasing on our laptops into our IRL retirement houses, by building retirement houses in-game.

It would be poetic, and a bit sad, but nothing can go on forever.

Yeah, maybe they would give us a Hamlet Arc into DST, since the last Arc was a Shipwreck style Arc.

I was actually thinking WHAT when I saw the materials that were meant to be placed on this POTTERY wheel. As a former worker in a pottery manufactory I felt like: Seriously I want to see the characters bleeding, sore hands after trying to do pottery on a pottery wheel with THAT stuff instead of clay material.

Actual clay being added to the game could have a lot more use for receipts then only for sculptures, though : ) In case someone wants to say it would be a niche material.

Also just a random thought: If the characters actually used clay for the pottery wheel [maybe additionally to the painful-to-work-with material they are using atm (seriously their poor hands).] then it would be nice to also add different kind of engobes or glazes to give the art works different colours patterns etc. so people could customize their decorations even more.

I think the golden statues should be made with gold AND thulecite btw, they look too fancy otherwise
