I might have misunderstood you because of the translation, in any case, I mean that every character is good in some way, and it's not worth hate one and hearing another, whatever character it is(this does not work with Wes, only shhh)

Ohh, now I understand. My first post wasn't to hate on Wormwood. I meant that now Wormwood has a new rival(Wurt) with the farmer merms. Which is rough for him considering how problematic his skilltree was.

So it's all good my friend, No worries.:encouragement:

make Wormwood mainer sad because this update make his ability not that special and powerful. Is there any other reason to play him? I'm pessimistic.

I have good news, he still can do the same in seconds. He still is faster than Wurt and her merms.

And is a fun character... is tireshome to always read comments comparing characters when the funnier part of dst is how unique each character

Is sad to see that CK didn't got his geysers back yet

I don't care, that's not my word, it's Fujiko F. Fujio's(a.k.a Doraemon writer) word.

image.jpeg.f065ab515917b60574a671e519857ecf.jpeg

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the more correct translation would be

"A joke is something that everyone can laugh at together."

Which is true in that translation, with emphasis on the together part. Laughing is one of the most social bonding activities there is.

The fitting word is not "everyone", but "together" instead

I don't speak the language, just used AI translation to reason backwards to what the comic bubbles wanted to convey.

"Humor is something that EVERYONE feel funny" is not true and likely not what Fujiko wanted to convey

As long as there was no error in transcription, the AI model understood these kanji and hiragana:

冗談というのは、 みんなでゆかいに 笑えることを いうのです。

Is transcription correct?

If any native japanese folks can assist, I'm willing to learn what the original message wanted to convey.

the exact translation (something will be lost inevitably between the two) is not as important as the intended message. in which case i BELIEVE the intended message is "its not a joke if its attacking someone else to make you laugh".

in which case silver spoon is using it appropriately

on a separate note: the teletransporters requiring resources is a welcome balance change. it was a little too cheap. late game gems or enlightened shards are a fine replacement to improve efficiency.

side note: making a chain of teleporters with enlightened shards should be dead easy now, you teleport which sets the teleporter on cooldown, allowing you to teleport to the next station repeat until at destination, they recharge, and you can easily reverse the process

Humor is, by definition, subjective.

However,

is true.

There's no such joke that would be universally funny, as everyone has their own sense of humor, and that's ok. However, people who make "jokes" at others' expense aren't being funny, they're just being mean.

"Together" is translated as "一緒に" in Japanese. The original sentence does not contain the word "一緒に" so the AI translation is incorrect. The transcription is correct.

Yes, this is my intended. And I actually read the episode where this line comes from (the episode with エスパー真美, "マミ・ウォッチング"). This line is a warning against calling "joke" that the act of pretending to attack in order to force the main character to use her psychic.

Yes, this is the closest one, thanks.

Probably the closest meaning is

"Good humor includes EVERYONE having a good laugh"

Fujiko was right

Sacrificing someone for laughs is toxic

Skill trees were a mistake and every single update proves that more and more

This isn't even sandbox at this point, it's some sort of tower defense & colony building crap

It's not even funny how much the last skill trees will probably be leagues above Wormwood and Woodie, nevermind Wilson who is treated like a disposable joke by the devs
