What are somethings you have never used in this game?

Recommended Posts

Personally I have never used the Beefalo Brush before. I usually go out of my way to start taming a Beefalo as soon as possible so I usually dont have that much trouble fully domesticaing one before spring starts. And then there's the resources required to craft it, one steel wool and one walrus tusk. The tusk alone gatekeeps this time until winter starts and nevermind the possibility of tusks being scarce because you didn't get Mactusk or got unlucky with his drops. And theres the steel wool which can only be dropped by the rare Ewecus which can be a pain to fight earlier in the game. All of these factors lead to me not really ever needing to make a brush. I guess the free wool, obedience and boost in domestication is nice if you can somehow get these things asap in winter, but thats like hoping you get a lazy traveller from AG. It's a nice bonus, but not something you'd rely on reliably.

Tail o' three cats. What even is the use?

The only use is to make Maxwell feel like he's the master again. lol (that's the only reason I adore to use it all the time when I play with Maxwell) Plus I like the noise it makes.

Hmm, most ruins gear, The weather pain and luxury fan, Bee mines, gun powder, most blowdarts, pumkin lanterns, antlion , fuelweaver, and toadstool stuff, telelocators, ocuvigils, Most staves, training dummies, cannons nautopilots, dock kits, Fire pumps, over half the crockpot foods and nothing from the wild rifts in the caves

I will say the brush is super nice for fast-tracking the taming process in a long term world. My current longest running world my beefalo tragically passed in a Celestial Champion battle. After an appropriate amount of grieving I started taming another one and was shocked at how fast and more pleasant the experience was.

an underrated benefit to the brush is that it gives 40% obedience, so brushing at the start of the day immediately gets your beefalo ready to ride!

It is totally impractical for early game due to the valuable resource sink, but late game it takes all the stress out of the process and I appreciate it for that
