The Crab King has no defense against bees and cannot even use the freezing attack. Then it will fall in 2 minutes and 15 seconds.

He is the easiest giant to defeat in the entire game. The best design ever made (edit: that was sarcasm).

And this is not exploit, as the player explained to me that:

"let me end the argument by stating that Weaponized Bees are found under the dedicated Weapons tab in the game designed & intended to be used as a Weapon.."

It's worth noting that this is the method used by most players, including many Klei ambassadors.

In addition, there are several videos with tutorials on this, including by famous ambassadors.

It's nothing new or secret.

I am not talking about the fight itself, or the bee method. I am talking about the post itself.

 

I am talking about rage bait out done through your tone and word choice deliberately. "He is the easiest boss in the entire game." "The best design ever made." This is bait.

And isn't he the easiest boss to face because of this technique? The only boss in the game that doesn't need any armor or any action, just rowing. Absolutely no risk of losing the fight.

Activate the Terrarium in the middle of the beefalos or another boss and the Eye of Terror dies. I think that's easier.
I can think of other ways that I don't need to move a finger or even paddle for a boss to die, even the twins or using them.

It's a funny post, I use it all the time (Probs just bundle killer bees). CK still needs a redesign/rework though.

 bees can still be frozen if you do stuff wrong and you still need to obtain the bees. Bearger is easier since You can run bearger into trees and essentially defeat him with no items.

You say Crab King doesn’t need any armor or action, but yet you still need at least a boat, an oar, a way of staying warm enough not to freeze to death fighting him (I used the smaller upgradeable firepits from the cult of the lamb update) This goes double true if your playing as a character who starts taking immediate health loss damage the moment they start to get cold (Willow, & shocker… Wanda) Weaponized Bees require Silk, Boards, Bug Nets & a ton of player captured bees..

I’ll also like to challenge your idea that crab king is the easiest boss requiring the least preparation, To easily kill Deerclops or Bearger (bosses that’s A.I. are designed to prioritize structures or food sources over fighting the player) it’s as simple as just putting a few stacks of gunpowder or slurtle slime in a bait storage chest letting the boss who is coded to walk towards and destroy it walk towards it.. and then lighting said chest on fire with a fire staff..

Even the bosses who Klei gave Kaboom Resistance to, don’t stand a chance when you bring enough kaboom  

You don’t HAVE to craft gunpowder though, you can just hang out around a bunch of slime producing snails and eventually.. you’ll have enough explosives to even bring down Dragonfly.

With her you will simply go into the fight with a Panflute, use it Once plant your explosives at her sleeping body, plant two or three small pinecone trees in a trail away from your stack of kaboom, and let the magic of “Smoldering” safely ignite your Kaboom while your a safe distance away.

Playing this game almost exclusively single player and not in a group of six like Klei designed and intended it to be played- Players had to come up with unconventional methods of toppling the games multiplayer focused raid bosses.

But there’s also always Wolfgang, whom by just existing instantly chops any bosses total health down by half its full amount, and if TWO Wolfgang’s exist? That bosses total health just went from half to half of half…

We gonna nerf Wolfgang now?

The very positive side of demonstrating something through videos is that it becomes something very objective, going far beyond opinions (which will always be subjective) about "design" being good or bad or "fun".

There is a video with Wilson and another video with Wes.

From my (subjective) point of view, it doesn't make any sense for the developers to redo the entire boss design and allow more absurd things in the current system.

Deerclops: Dies to a spear, a Marble Suit, and a Campfire.

Crab King: Requires you actually going to the ocean, using a very specific setup, understanding all the complicated mechanics to remove the challenge of the fight.

Therefore... Crab King is the easiest giant?

Like, nothing against being fine with the Crab King fight. I never even went into the Ocean myself, so I have no idea about how anything in the Ocean works, but saying that [insert boss here] is easier than Deerclops is just silly... Like, geez, all you need to beat Deerclops is super easily available and is about as straight-forward as it can get.

I kind of love the relevancy that crab king brings to bee mines. It kind of makes so much sense... it makes him look like a lot of fun, genuinely.

Super fun watching how a defenseless behemoth is killed by few bees because some people prefer that than engaging with the content

 

Beemines can be relevant agaisnt the many non aoe damage enemies there are. Most people dont use it because isnt worth the time expend on getting bees to increase the dps. 

Plus they need a buff, you are wasting a slot to keep just 4 bees. Would be better if mines could be stacked

why do you guys hate on ck so much? Every boss has its flaws in this game and I don't think we should all dogpile on one.
