A few minor feedback about Willow's skill tree

1. Hungry Lighter - Absorbing fire radius should be bigger. The ember absorbing mechanism is very similar to Wortox's one. Except the former one is waaaay more inconvenient. The absorbing radius should definitely be expanded.

2. Hungry Lighter - The stacks of items should be applied to the refueling efficiency when absorbing fires. Recently klei gave Willow an ability to benefit her sanity from stacked burning items. This needs to be applied to the Hungry Lighter skill when repairing the lighter, for the consistency. 

3. Controlled Burning - Sometimes you just want to start wildfires for charcoal, or burn stacked items to dispose of it, or refuel your lighter. There should be an way to start "NOT" controlled burning.

4. Burn Duration - The object should burn down "slower", not faster, like when it applies to creatures. Willow has always took advantage of the obejects' burning status itself, not already-burnt ash. Combined with the super narrow radius of fire absortion + slowed down speed, it feels kinda hectic to control the scuttering fighting situations. Repairing the Bernie, extinguishing fires with lighters, besides the ordinary combat management... Longer burning duration will surely gives the player more chance to react to some complex situations.

5. Burning Bernie - The Bernie skills in Affinity tab should be counted in Burning Bernie unlocking requirements. Currently there should be 8 preceding Bernie skills to unlock it, and the Shadow/Lunar Bernie skills are not counted in these condition. This is because the affinity Bernie skills can be unlocked before the Burning Bernie skill does. Seems like unintentional tho.

6. Burning Bernie - Ignitable mobs killed by Bernie's reflect damge should drop ember. When you want to get more ember from non boss creatures, you cannot benefit from this skill because the small mobs will panic when burns. Considering you need to invest at least 9 skill points to activate this skill while giving up the powerful affinity lighter skill (it requires at least 7 points to lighter tree to unlock), This change will make the skill much more attractive option to choose.

7. Burning Bernie - Force-attacking Bernie with torch/lighter could lit Bernie up. Similar to Wendy's Abigail.

8. Burning Bernie - Currently Bernie provides light when burning, but not the heat. Standing next to burning Bernie could provide warmth to player.

Prety much, yes. Fire used to be practical for clearing huge swathes of weed from farm land with one click but now it involves a super much clicking if the there is lots of weed. >_>

She needs the oposite of a watering can, a firening can!

Completely agree with all of this especially the part about his affinity skill not counting as a Bernie skill. I do feel his burning Bernie skill should probably unlock at 7 skills as well. Other than that another Bernie change I'd make is making it so you can use the fire staff to light Bernie on fire when he has the perk this is even more important if they don't raise the duration of Burning Bernie above 30 seconds since needing to run up to him with a lighter every 30 seconds will get tedious fast.

On the Lighter side of things I do feel like her fire spell that lights things on fire should have it's range increased a bit as well since it's a bit awkward to use in combat right now.

you can start a non-controlled fire with fireball. the little dwarf star thing creates normal fires.

definitely agree burn duration of objects being shorter is generally a nerf. long durations are good for heat and light. also the absorb radius could be a tad bit larger.

I was thinking about controlled burning and think its okay there... but like what if her 1 ember spell caused fire that could spread still?

You can use her dwarf star spell to create spreadable fire but I don't think there is a way to turn that off...

idk about this - you basically do it Wortox style which is to say - you farm by killing bees and butterflies with your lighter.  Not too hard really.
