    • Balance between other items: like despite almost same winter stats puffy vest is just never made and replaced by beef hat due to backpack, any warm/breezy clothing replaced by thermal stone.

I voted for other. This would probably fall under polishing/reworking, but not for "characters, seasons, mechanics like temperature, wetness, wildfires." 

These are the changes I would like to see most:

  • Crab King rework.
  • A consistent way to obtain the celestial orb without needing to spend (insert number) days (and even then, it's not guaranteed)
  • A consistent way to find the tentapillar leading to the atrium without having to map out the entire caves.
  • A consistent way to find salt formations and deep bass shoals without sailing for days on end.
  • A consistent way to spawn Malbatross without relying on a 10% chance.
  • Either give every mob with an "epic" tag a corresponding statue, or remove the "epic" tag from the ones that don't have a statue (I genuinely don't think this will ever happen and that's okay)

I mostly do boss rushes if it wasn't already obvious. I don't expect all of these to happen, but would be happy if any of them did.

Not really, Klei can just reuse the code. I can make those biome specific pigmen in about an hour, if given the assets of course.

Drawing assets and designing different behaviours might take a while, but coding? Just Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V:lol:

I just kind of... Want the old parts of the game to get some love. Kind of how mobs sometimes get mini reworks during yot events, but for more of them at once, some changes that don't impact the game in some big way, don't change the meta, aren't the new OP thing to incorporate into your gameplay at once.

I'm thinking butterflies could have different colors depending on the biome. Vultures could spawn around skeletons (especially the new Koalefant skeleton). Biomes could have more diversity, some more pure decor mobs with negligible drops like squirrels or crickets.

I realize this kind of update is useless by all definitions- no story progress, no actual QoL, no excitement, no epic spooky trailer to catch some eyes. But maybe someday...

There are so many things I want to see in the game. New biomes both in the surface and caverns, new bosses (I love having new bosses to kill :love_heart:). I also think the cooking system should be revisited, balance some food options and maybe even make cooking more engaging and fun, not that there's anything wrong with our beloved crockpot it's just that it's such an old system, there's def room for improvement. But to be honest, the update I'm most eager for is Winona's skill tree lol I love her a lot and there's so much potential to her skill tree 

To be honest, there are already enough weapons and armor in the game. Even too much. You can only wear one at a time, but there's, like, a dozen to choose from. And the choice is good, but even in this survey, there is a big bias towards combat content, as if it's the only thing the game consists of. It is a big part of the it, sure, but we just got three new bosses. I'd prefer something else for a change. Some way of interacting with the world other than new monsters to kill.

rest of the skill trees pleeaaaseee! I don't much care for the end-game content (though I can't really say that since it is unfinished), the thing I adore about the skill trees is they affect/can affect all stages of the game, and are just... fun.

My only issue with the current updates right now is that the skill trees will seemingly be taking turns with the end-game content, so I'll have to wait for characters I enjoy to be "good" in the end-game (not to say any character is *bad* in the end-game, just a whole lot less appealing to play when Woodie, Wormwood, and Wolfgang all have planar perks.)

this does sound really nice! could help clear up having those duplicate biomes (looking at you, second deciduous!)

We all want skill trees, right? No? Ha ha you are just covertly saying yes!

We want skill trees! 

--I'm so tired of reading these things.

I would also like a bit more focus to the early game. I spend more time there and the beginning starts to get a little more boring each time. Around day 300 I start to get bored having killed every boss and I start a new world. The skill trees were a great help at curving the early tedium, so more would be welcome.

But I can't help that some biomes, like the plains biome could be made more interesting.
