Was Wolfgang's extra hunger drain removed at some point?

I found out on Jakelosaurs wolfgang guide that mighty Wolfgang drains the same hunger as a normal, and i always though he drained more, even when i played Wolfgang rdcently. Is it true? Seemed odd to me.

If it's true, i wont lie it is odd that Warly and Wortox have faster hunger drain than a Body Builder with, and was known for having a big metabolatism and was known to need more food.

Mighty and normal wolfgang drains the same amount of hunger as wilson and wimpy form drains 25% less hunger than Wilson. Maybe you thought Wolf drained more hunger because you were using the gym a lot, the gym consumes some hunger. As wolf you dont need to eat more unless you are using the gym - the drain on the gym is not so big tho - but you need to eat often because how hungry you are affects your mightness drain, the more hungry wolf is the faster his mightness will drain.

Yeah, ever since the original Wolfgang rework.

Probably because new players would unintentionally gorge on food without realizing being full meant higher hunger drain. Was not conducive to a multiplayer environment I guess.

Wortox has faster hunger drain? I know Warly does, but Wortox? I thought his only disadvantage with food was they were half as effective.

Warly sucks, worse character in the entire game.. I would rather play (& be good at playing..) Wes.

Im not joking, Warly is that bad for me, such a boring playstyle.

If his Playstyle is meant to be “Cooking” then it needs to be atleast Half as in-depth as Winters Feasts cooking mechanics is…

Turn him into Overcooked or Cooking Mama.. I don’t care…. Just make his currently boring playstyle have some actual depth & fun to it.

Wolfgang & both Wes’s faster hunger drains were removed because. Players (mostly newbies) would pick them cause they had cool skins, and then they’d sit around in base eating all the food in the fridges because of their bottomless pit of a stomach.

I for one am glad they drain food at slower pace now.. 

DST rewards players with skins just for logging in Daily, so of course if someone who sucks as/has never played Wes gets a cool head skin for Wes they’ll pick Wes, not knowing he’s meant to be the most challenging character in the game.

Things that worked in Solo DS don’t really work so well in DST.

Having muscles increases your metabolitism alot passively, and you need alot of food to body build. Working out also uses alot of calories but his gym is the only one that does that. Having big stomach doesn't mean you need more food.

As others have said Klei did away with the hunger drain in his rework.  Now his hunger drains normal pace.  I think when they re-worked Wes they decided that the hunger drain was a bad thing for both Wes and Wolfgang at the same point, but did not change Wolf until his rework to reflect that.  I would not be surprised if they also changed Warly if they realize he still has high hunger drain.  Wortox eats souls and is discouraged from food so I don't think the same perspective applies to him.

Yes it is weird that a fit, active, body builder type consumes the same food as everyone else.  imo it was very thematic that Wolfgang ate food to fill his mightiness before but it was not a mechanic I was married to so when they changed it I didn't complain really.

Klei seems to balance the game based on memes instead of actual merit. There was a meme where everyone hated Wes (He's hard?! WTF!) & Wolfgang (Tryhard Edgy Rick character!) because they ate a little more food (even though they probably got it on their own, and enough to share), but there was never a meme about Warly (Wholesome chef gives me yummy meatballs!) or Wortox (I love you, healing man!).

All character downsides should be memes.

Items nearby Willow should smolder as if she was a living fire, Maxwell should be really good at cawnavil games, Wilson should lose lots of sainity when not near a bunch of structures, Wes should make every other character in the server have his downsides but 4x worse to make Wes Op compared to the rest of the cast.
