I see her quite a lot mostly with people that just like to farm, but to be fair yeah she kinda got outmatched by Maxwell's rework, most of the Wickers I see end up switching to Maxwell after crafting her books. Currently I wouldnt say she has an urgency for her skill tree tho, her books are amazingly useful even post-rift

This time it was very difficult for me to be in the beta discussion. All that's happening here is updating the thing that was asked for - there are people who don't like it - they update and add a bunch of things - there is a person who doesn't like it because it doesn't correspond to HIS vision and it all starts around. I don't want to offend anyone, I'm just tired of watching people "bite the hand that feeds them"

Are you saying that it's not allowed to voice relevant and polite criticism based on one's own opinions and experiences?

I really understand the desire to make favorite character cool and fit the character, but Clay did a lot for Wendy, and it seems that no one appreciated it. Although I understand that complaints just sound louder than praises

They said Walter would be "a short while after" Wendy's aesthetics stuff in the new year post. They also said that the roadmap would be out "very soon", though, so I'm not sure how much to trust that "a short while" = "only a week".

Ngl when they said short while I assumed it was going to be the next day so a full week+ was kinda surprising I'm assuming we'll get it today or tomorrow though.

Leaning a bit harder on tomorrow though since I'm assuming this update is going to be big between Wendy, Walter, and Wortox.

Yeah, i imagine itll have the lastish batch of wendy and wortox changes, while walter get a revamp to hus tree and will get tweaked after launch.

Going off what they said this update for Walter is going to be Woby changes, and the remaining Wendy changes Wortox wasn't mentioned but I imagine he'll get something too since people brought up he was left out. I don't really expect a full revamp for Walter though.

But yeah, i agree. Hopefully beta updates in a few hours.

Edit: per the bug tracker we'll probably be getting an easier way to toggle lunar abigail, which is nice. Also a bunch of bugfixes.

Curious if they are going to do anything for Wortox, since it was still up in the air pre-break if he was getting any more changes. Also curious to see if this gets immediately put into live. Really hoping that the Walter changes are solid if so.

Looks like next week. Might be too hopeful but I'd bet on sooner (like, IDK, Tuesday maybe) rather than later. Somehow I don't think Klei is going to try and fit 3 characters into one update again.

I imagine we'll get the update first since they're probably not going to release a roadmap with a delayed update in the works but honestly this situation is getting worrying considering we're already going into February now...

Eh, no matter the characters involved things take time to get right. With the other 3-character update they just gave Wolfgang a bunch of stat increases and called it a day. This is taking longer because [points at forums], yeah, but it'd also take longer just for having to put more thought into 3 at once. Probably why Wortox got the bulk of his work done pre-beta. Somebody has to get the short end of the stick when they do this many at once, and it wasn't going to be the favorite child or the one that you couldn't even mention without getting told how much he sucked.
