Setting for new pickup SFX

Would be nice if you guys were to add a new option to disable new pick up sounds, but you probably don't care enough about something so insignificant. I just can't get used to the new sounds they're not for me.

someone will probably make a mod if one isn't added anyways.

Exactly. if it doesn't become a feature it'll just be a workshop mod instead. This is also a very acceptable outcome for people who are a bit too bothered by them, they'll get their solution, the "how" is only changed and it wouldn't hurt to simply have it as a feature.

I can't exactly blame people for being bothered by them, they all have their reasons, maybe they'd miss every item having the consistent sound or, are afraid of such a change that'd alter such a common occurrence within the game. Or just being afraid of change in general. It's acceptable to have preference, it'd be excellent to be able to have a choice in this regard, it's client-sided and would be more personalization after all.

The default setting would have these new sounds enabled as it's still the image that's wanting to be painted, being able to opt out of hearing these sounds will let the people who are concerned over it remain sated.

I wouldn't mind the new sounds if ever item had unique sounds, but having only a handful of basic resources changed just makes the new sounds feel out of place.

I know the update is likely coming out pretty soon, but I still think this is just a beta thing
