Mr Giggio
I was doing AG fight earlier and then this happened. I mean of course the night armor should broke, right? Its a lotta damage. But what Im curious is: It is suposed to get all the damage left yourself? I remember when armor broke its like oh yeah u lost a futball helmet but the damage was mitigated completely, but here it was like I did took 2 hits one in my armor and then in my HP raw. Any thoughts? I didnt get track of this change till now cuz Im always doing fights riding a beefalo xD 1818433410-477173396-ea07e76b-c70a-4757-987e-b193a23981f3.mp4 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/147761-since-when-is-that-a-thing/ Share on other sites
Brago-sama
Only thing i can think possibly happening is that the shockwave, and ancient gaurdians physical body have seperate hitboxes, one broke the armor and the second one hit you armorless If theres only 1 hitbox then idk Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/147761-since-when-is-that-a-thing/#findComment-1634708 Share on other sites
-Variant
Something hit you twice, there. It wasn't all one hit as you can see the blood overlay apply itself twice in half a second there. What hit you is a good question. It wasn't just one hit. Zeklo
Yeah you can occasionally get hit twice by that attack. It's not consistent so it may very well be a bug. MadMatt
Yeah classic pound attack. You can note this in basically every instance it's used, particularly Bearger's slam, but also Toadstool. It'll just sometimes hit you twice if you're standing in the wrong spot. Juanasdf
As some others have stated, yes, the groundpound hit you twice. The first hit broke your armor and the second dealt full damage. I remember it was fixed sometime ago, but maybe they only fixed bearger, and AG can still do it. In fact they have implemented that change in Don't Starve's QOL and Bugfix update: "Ground-shaking attacks (Bearger, Thumper, etc) will no longer damage the same mob multiple times (Base, RoG)." abrocator
When you’re on a boat and you’re passed by another (bigger) boat you get hit by multiple waves.
