It would be a very pleasant and desirable item for all wormwood mainers and for all those with whom he plays, as written here (It would deal extra Planar damage on hit and have more durability, but without Planar defense as to not render the original armor obsolete or something like that.) Taking in consider that Wilson has some interaction with the new late-game craftable items, other characters should as well at one point so I think this is an amazing suggestion.

Wanda is the character most affected by the planar system. She is Fragile and needs night armor (95%). 80% planar defense armor for Wanda is an absurd nerf for her. And it still has the loss of its main combat system.

The point is that Wanda's development was done by balancing damage x fragility. Now Klei is making the character more fragile by the planar system. Wormwood still has 80% armor (planar) and infinite heals in his inventory.

They fixed Bone Armor planar absorption and added planar defense to Dreadstone. Old Wanda with Alarming Clock deals more damage to Brightshades than Willow with Brightshade sword, so she has no reason to craft the sword. As far as the Brightshades go, she's gonna be fine if you're careful enough (which you should be since you play Wanda). They're not that hard to dodge.

If they add enemies with hard to dodge planar attacks, then it's gonna be a problem to her. Now it's too early to panic.

Now it's exactly to show the impact of planar damage for each character type. And for Wanda it's an abuse. Remember that the new weapon has a nerf for Wanda when she is old. In other words, another nef for her and no better options than the current ones.

Can you use Bone Armor against all bosses? After the first hit you are without protection for 6 seconds.

There's no way to compare the impact of planar damage for Wolfgang and Wigfrid to Wanda. You have to defeat complicated bosses to try to make Wanda playable and the others not. Is that balance, Klei?

New bosses with planar damage are the future. This is Klei's initial project update.

There aren't any.

The only mobs using Planar FOR NOW are Grazers and Brightshades.
