Nah, Walter has a direct, cheaper, upgraded version of the fur roll with his portable tent craft. Making the fur roll repairable would undermine his craft.

If the fur roll gets better, i want the lazy explorer to have 100 uses to replace playing as wortox :wilsoalmostangelic:.

did walter have a perk to sleep more efficiently? this would be good for him. Also you are comparing few grass and twigs with needing bunny puffs and sewing kits which are way more expensive

this also helps non pr0s to have more ways of dealing with character downsides (ex. wormwood and warly)

plus this could make this item a little more used since i never used it and dont know anybody that has used it ever. Some people here prefer to have totally unused items that adding small changes to have more appealing options, glad these people aren't in charge of developing games

didnt know that wortox consumes sanity to jump and needed to go to the ruins to get his souls and didnt know that lady explorer alowed jumping entire biomes via clicking on the map. Good to know

Im game for the bunny drop rate to increase for building more hutches as bunnymen are great combat followers which would indirectly help the fur roll but thats it.  Alot of people dont tend to sleep but ive always found it great. That doesnt mean there is anything wrong with the current fur roll or any tent. Most people who play DST just happen to be to prefer waiting 40secs at a stationary crock pot rather than 40secs in a portable fur or tent roll.

Never understood the appeal of crockpot foods over living off the land, eating cooked monster meat/kelp/raw carrots/lichen. You can save up unspoilable healing salves for bosses by using the fur roll for out of combat healing after general mob fights.

Sleeping/healing salves has always been competitive with crockpot foods atleast for the early and midgame, just i think the youtube/twitch community has made people bias towards using crockpots.

Its one of the primary reasons i main Walter for the improved tent rolls along side the easy access beefalo and improved storage.

I am actually doing a Light's Out Wormwood run and since Poultice is difficult to come by I like the Fur Roll. Just thought 3 uses for 2 Bunny Puffs is not worth it. Figured i'd ask and make a suggestion on the forums.

if they were easier to amass i wont care about fur roll being reparaible cuz it wont matter but right know is one thing or another (personally kinda prefer increasing the drop chances)

a lot of people tent to play short sessions or just rushing X stuff so i guess they decide to cook over other stuff because if you wont keep your world for long you can simply shovel every mushroom and get the carrots that were included thinking about multiple players which makes cooking pierogies very easy and fast

in my case i dont like that kind of gameplay (i dont even like adventure mode because how easy is when you realize that you can be careless about the worlds you jump over) but i dont use other sources of healing outside of food because i tent to use thulecite gear for early boss fights but i played alone most of the time so is easy to reach that wealthy

i guess is the same reason why some people say that log suits are useless, sure, arent that good when you destroy every single pig house that was there to feed and give resources to 4 to 6 players. People call it meta cuz efficiency, i call it "you are stuck in one play style because using multiplayer world's resources is a confort zone and you cant understand that other people play with more players or dont like that style"

I'd love to see this in the vanilla game, but until then if anyone's interested there's an old mod for this here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=805125482

Did not know this was a thing. I hope it becomes baseline. A friend of mine made Tin Fishin' Bin work on Docks but now that is baseline. Here's hoping!
Thanks for the link!!!!!
