where my klei pub players at?

Recommended Posts

It's not worth it. The servers are too easy to bring down (happens all the time even without malicious intent). can definitely do it with malicious intent.

Any admin/mod can ping me for details if they want. Definitely not sharing publicly.

Hey @nimzowitsch10, are you only wanting to play on Klei's public servers? I've asked a number of times what general region you're in as you've mentioned there's no servers in your area. It would be helpful to know as then I can go and see if it's possible for our group to host a dedicated server there. We're always happy to find new places to host servers. If you don't want to say publicly what region you're in, you can always DM me.

Not sure what else to tell you if you don't respond... Not sure how continuing to make these posts without accepting help that's offered to you is going to change anything for you. :-?

@X-lemYes I've seen your messages and I do appreciate the gesture but here are all the dedicated endless servers in my area (East Coast U.S)

Only 3 modded english servers and the rest are all chinese/??? pings.

Yes the server browser changes and shows different servers but majority are at like day 500-1k which is not what I want. Klei endless servers last around 100 to 300 days which is the ideal amount of days I'm looking for in an endless server. They reset often which makes it more fun and noone is in control which makes it even more fun.

Sort them by "Best Connection". "Relevance" places first groups' servers you're subscribed to, including those with >500 ping. If you're East USA (more-so if up North), you should see vanilla pubs like Red Troll, DST United Kingdom, DST Germany, Mighty Beard, JesterOK, Usurper's Sandals, etc.

Huh, I did not know that, that has made my server browser like 3x better thank you.

The servers you have mentioned get me about 170+ ping though so i'm still looking for better ones.

By any chance you're using a WiFi connection (even though might be labeled 4G/5G) and not residing in a metropolitan area? If so.. it won't get better. WiFi works well for streaming/massive download/gaming solely in areas packed with wireless terminals/antennas. Else will fail you all time regardless of what ISP might say in their services defense; even building where you use it can factor in signal perturbation (for example, tin rooftop and/or iron concrete walls obstruct/disperse WiFi). You'll have high pings - and most importantly, oscillating latency - pretty much all time. If can, go for wired ISP, on fiber optics. This if a general problem, and not DST-related only.
