Make tamed animals fight for you

Recommended Posts

I would like animals to defend us if you have a bond that is too strong for them to take the trouble to help you. Also that by helping you, not everyone has the utility to fight but to do other things like digging for you. They have different perks depending on what creature it is. that they can be something more than food.

*Edit*:
my bad I meant that I would like animals to help in general But I wrote this post thinking in a generic way so that it is accepted but the desire that animals have more utility is authentic, that's why I wrote the post. And I will give examples that could be useful because I saw that they ask for more examples
Gassy Moo:
that can be rideable to reach high places even if they are very slow.
Have the pip creature find seeds from the ground and give them to us. Even track other creatures. PS: English is not my native language so it is possible that there are inconsistencies in the writing.

Well most of the critters have the utility of producing useful stuff when fed. Taming just increases efficiency. But that said i can think of a few ways they could get more useful beyond that. Like shinebugs for example could be placed ina birdcage or on a leash to provide light where needed. Imagine a dupe carrying a shinbug in a small cage or like a balloon. A caged bug could be used like a lightbulb that has to be fed and replaced with a new one once it "expires".

Maybe a tamed shove vole could be used as a digging equipment upgrade, but i`m not sure how to make that work without looking super silly.

Very nice idea, also it should be possible catch pacu, and swim in water, or catch gassy moo and fly like in a jet suit. Or even catch shove volley and move through natural tiles.
