Posted October 6, 2022 Share Posted October 6, 2022 Hello, i just want to know the exact number, right now i tested it myself and i think tallbirds lay an egg every 30 min which is honestly too much time for a single egg per bird. I hate to say it but i think tallbirds are still not worth it to farm, maybe 2 days or 16 min would be a lot better, idk. Soon i will make a post with all my data about tallbirds and how to farm blue eggs using my special fish shaped pen. According to the Wiki, a tallbird takes 17.5 in-game hours to lay another egg, or roughly 6 minutes. However, it takes a tallbird 2.5 days to respawn, which is about 20 minutes. Though this doesn't apply since the egg laying time was changed, but if it does take longer then before, I don't think they are going to shorten the time since it was already very short before. EDIT: Just tested, tallbirds now take 3 days and 2 segments to lay an egg, which is 25 minutes, what a nerf! And that doesn't even take into account the random nature of tallbrids when they decide they want to lay an egg or not. (Day 5 and some nests are still empty!) Even just picking them every now and then means you'll end up with a healthy stockpile whenever you need them.
