That's why we are on beta test, to the changes reachs players off forum while the update doesn't come. Then we should have a better sample statistically speaking. If the community doesnt like, just revert back... ;)

Im sry, but I dont think in that way man. Have you forgot the Beta of the Reign of Giants when Klei put the dug cactus and removed later? How about Warbucks? Anyway

Where's the "No, I don't think it should" option?

It does have a good look, but it's clearly a variation on a checkerboard floor. Using it as a road is like putting wooden floors next to the shoreline to pretend to be a dock before Moon quay update. It's nice and creative, but it shouldn't be a distraction.

I would love to see another road turf, but simply making these turfs give a speed boost isn’t the answer.

Roads need to be either the highest priority turf or the lowest. If not, things are going to look awkward as your road gets wider and narrower based on the adjacent turfs.

We already have a lowest priority road turf. Another skin for that would be neat and all, but it won’t change that dramatically how you can decorate.

A high priority road turf on the other hand would allow having narrow strips of other turf adjacent to roads or between roads—something that’s not at all possible today. This would be so nice to have as it would open up a lot of design space.

Back to the new mosaic turfs. These could make a great top priority road turf *if* the edges get cleaned up to be straight (like a carpet) rather than jagged. They would probably need a border too if they are to look clean.

I’m not against these turfs being made into roads, but I think it would be better if Klei gave us something designed with that intent in the first place.
