Iino
I'm playing in a longterm solo world as Wendy right now so I have more than enough jellybeans than what I know to do with. I have two stacks of garlic jellybeans and two stacks of normal jellybeans just sitting in a chest, never to be used. If I can feed them to the EM or SoT so it can maintain long fights it would be incredibly ideal since it would be like a hambat but never spoiling. Y'all think it's a good idea? Hornete
Yes, I think the idea of the eye mask and shield of terror inheriting food effects would be a fun idea in general, and I can see it opening up some new niche uses with it that'd be fun to interact with, . And hey, it's a way for Wanda to use jellybeans!
Cloakingsumo198
It can already eat glow berries and obtain their effect which is one of my favorite ways to repair both those items since it also makes them a light source. So extending that ability to other food items sounds great.

ALCRD
Imagine if they could benefit from spices effects in their own way. Garlic spice = increases both the mask and shield durability Honey spice = Increases swing speed of shield. Mask would give slight movement speed boost when worn. Chili flakes = increase in damage done by shield , mask : small % of dmg recieved is reflected back at attacker Salted dishes = "repairs" them a lot more when fed to mask / shield

This alone would change the meta, increasing dps and movement speed from the easiest spice to mass produce sounds like heaven tbh. Plus honey spice is kinda useless outside of the Toadstool fight anyway, this change would actually make me bundle honey.

This is too much, speed is a delicate subject to touch around since it changes the game a lot. For the helmet and then wearing it could maybe give the same effect as eating a sweetened food yourself (more efficient chopping and mining). For the shield it could just give it bonus healing.
