Even the deserts aren't really all that desert-y in terms of climate. ADM Posted June 27, 2022 Share Posted June 27, 2022 As much as it would look better, it’s basically relocating one-tier further tree for sea recipes onto a much earlier access area. So if not for style it’s not a good suggestion on the progression side of the gameplay. Better make that replacement by the players once they obtain these trees. Mike23Ua Posted June 27, 2022 Share Posted June 27, 2022 The oasis- is an optical illusion brought about by intense desert heat on the verge of heat stroke, there are many comedic movies (mainly bud abbot & Lou Costello) where the character attempts to jump into or drink from the Oasis only to discover they’re drinking/swimming in sand. As such: It makes perfectly logical sense to see Palm Trees at the Oasis that otherwise, appear to be out of place and not belonging. There are however at times Actual real Oasis’s found in desert/Sandy areas of the world. Oasis is basically an area of a dry place(usually desert), which was made fertile by a body of water. Look up the pictures, birchnuts make more sense there than palmcones. They are one of the ingredients in one of the easiest, fastest cooking (and eating animation) health dish in the game. Available day one. They are also a better alternative to farm with Bearger so he doesn't die as easily to treegaurds. He can deal with the poison Birchnut treegaurds much easier. They don't petrify either.
