lakhnish Posted June 18, 2022 Share Posted June 18, 2022 There's code to be able to befriend prime mates, but it doesn't work since they are always paddling (that and it looks like a copy-paste of what pigmen currently have, so you could theoretically befriend them with meat, even though they are a veggie diet). Wes and Wilson already get straight buffs from it. No point in making it even more viable. Pumking7 Posted June 18, 2022 Share Posted June 18, 2022 Honestly the only interaction I want from Wonkey and the Powder Monkeys, is when Powder Monkeys are given a banana by Wonkey they will throw out all items they collected in their inventory and not steal for a little bit. Its the same interaction that happens in SW except you wouldn't become friends with Powder Monkeys, for this will allow you to not amass large amounts of beads if they raid you or steal items you want from the strange portal. I don't think that will work. The way they have it now is that when the Powder Monkey takes an item and goes into their house, that item gets stored into the pirate stash (though it's a little buggy atm). So you'd have to kill a Prime Mate to get the stash location to get your items back via that stash map they drop. It'd only work for the ones that spawn via the Portal since only they keep it in their inventory.
