What software do modders and Klei use for art?

Hi! I'm saving up for a drawing tablet to start digital art. Since I plan to learn coding anyways I want to try modding. What software does Klei and Modders use for art?

I like to use Clip Studio Paint now a-days, but I used to use Paint Tool Sai and FireAlpaca.

Any software with channel alpha (transparency) works tbh. I use Medibang Pro for my DST arts.

For pictures we have a bunch of choices, like the most common ones, Photoshop, sai, gimp, Animate... One can freely choose anything. I only learned that Klei uses Flash/Animate for animation. But I don't know what they use for static pictures.

My concerns is mainly about animation. There is only one known pipeline starting from spriter, but somewhat broken. And spriter is also inconvenient to use. How i wish another better pipeline could be built one day.

Too each their own preference but I like one that can convert colours to another because it's a pain to do things like clothing that may take a lot of time to change individual things.

I suggest you use GIMP.

I mostly use adobe fireworks a antiquated software but I am super comfortable with its simple interface. For more complex stuff I use photoshop. But any software that supports layers, and vectors should do the trick.
