Wortoxing
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I don't mean a big, laggy, explosion. Just the killing of all players after a bright flash, or something. I just think it'd bring tension for players to leave as quickly as possible after killing fuelweaver. Perhaps a timer at the top would be adrenaline-kicking, too. Yeah, that's really it, lmao. Maybe a dog
I always found it pretty odd how characters would comment how "We have to get out of here!", but nothing ever happens. Its kind of anticlimactic.

Its kind of anticlimactic. I guess it's quite similar to how killing the Celestial Champion is supposed to cause eternal darkness but in actuality the day/night cycle just resets after one day due to gameplay convenience (for now). What is supposed to happen is that the survivors get sucked into the Forge and then the Gorge from there, and potentially a third event if Klei ever decides to do a Sanity focused one. (Morgue? Though I doubt they will at this point.) So maybe a skippable cinematic or something would be nice.

UbiAnomaly
All that this would accomplish in practice is: A) A player having to stay behind in multiplayer to use the lazy deserter B) Wanda is now even better for the FW fight C) A lazy explorer is absolutely necessary for the fight/escape (for every player) or, more likely, D) People just bring life giving amulets The point is that as a feature, this would simply add another pointless requirement for FW that can easily be bypassed with little to no inconvenience. The warning probably was made just to warn the players about clockworks respawning on the way back to the exit from atrium, and that they'd better get out before clockworks respawn. Klei probably forgot about the option to run through the atrium before any clockwork even manages to hit the player, eliminating any danger from clockworks respawning. 17 hours ago, UbiAnomaly said: All that this would accomplish in practice is: A) A player having to stay behind in multiplayer to use the lazy deserter B) Wanda is now even better for the FW fight C) A lazy explorer is absolutely necessary for the fight/escape (for every player) or, more likely, D) People just bring life giving amulets The point is that as a feature, this would simply add another pointless requirement for FW that can easily be bypassed with little to no inconvenience. Pretty sure that ruins regeneration timer gives enough time for players to get out through the normal way, killing big tentacle. And if not, the timer can just be extended a bit. So no, it wouldn't add more items to the preparation.

It aint about making the fight tougher, its about lore and integrity/consistency.
Capybara007
i dont really mind the anticlimatic thing, and killing the player because "climax" seems rough and not really fun, you just voidwalk out of the ruins and wait for 2 minutes its a mildly interesting idea but i hope they dont do a bad execution "because of lore"

Hope they patch that soon.
SapoLover
If it is added, I think it should be like the drowning mechanic. The statues would change their posture and begin to emit lights that become more and more intense until they suddenly turn off and some sounds let you know that you couldn't escape on time, sending you to the center of the caves with half maximum hp and some things lost.
