is there is anything I should know about thus things? can I give them something and be friend with them? does the egg hatch after a while if I dont take it?

They are not your friend and so far the eggs do not hatch. But I hope they will in a later update

The only upside is that you can steal the egg and eat it or cook it. And it will lay another egg after some time.

If it gets mad at you, run away! Cos if it manages to hit you, it hurts :/

I assumed she wanted to be a friend when she came close and kind of smiled at me, after a moment she tried to attack me so I didnt really get if she wanted that I give her something or what, It'll be cool if that thing could be my friend, they should make something like this, ofcourse it should be a long procces and not like the pigs where one uncooked monster meat is enough.

Just dont live close to them. They go agro sometimes with no reason. I think they remember who stole their egg last week..

Fairly realistic though, chickens sometimes do the same.

It's also nice source of Meat, cuz it's really easy to kill Tallbird without been hit even once.

But if it's dead - it won't lay any new eggs I suppose, i mean - no respawn.
