Change the electrification circuit

Recommended Posts

Did anyone even consider using those? Who even needs 30 electrical damage as defence, when for same 2 slots you can gain additional 150 health? My personal recommendations for change is to add +20 (or less) electrical damage to all your hits, for example, dark sword will deal 88 damage with one circuit, and 108 to wet creatures. Your ideas, people? Like this post if you agree

Klei, we NEED a change, check the comment of shadowduelist below for details

I like this things. But it probably should deal more dmg to wet enemies. And maybe add to this circuits electric defense, like with eyebrella.

No, we already have enough high-damage chars.

Thorns is infinitely more useful than the pointless max health with no healing and no DR.

Ok, thorns may be not a bad idea, but c’mon, 30 damage? It is not even splash, so it should either deal more damage, or damage should be splash

30 damage is a lot, that's an entire spear hit. If you stack 3 of it it's 90 which is nearly 3 spear hits. It currently doesn't actually work like electricity since those calculations are done in the doing attack part instead of being attacked but if it got its electrical damage properly applying it would likely be a pretty decent option.

I feel like it still isn’t worth 2 slots

Wait, doesn’t wx already have electrical defense? Lightning doesn’t affect him

And still it is good only for very specific situations and you can install health or speed instead

i dont see a scenario where having these would be worth... maybe BeeQueen but speed is better for that fight

there aren't any realistic scenarios where it's good

it can work with one or multiple bone armors switching on some enemies.

it can work when paired with wortox so that you take hits with no armor on, not losing durability, and wortox healing you.

it's just not worth getting, as tanking is expensive resource-wise

Tanking dragonfly. Enough time for healing, hard kiting, no need for speed.

few dps (just 90 every 7 player hits at most) at the cost of healing and armor

to fight df you dont need speed

i like this module because isnt just flat stats but is very underwhelming

It hits hard and will eat through a lot of armor  it also hits very slow so reflected damage will be minimal.

It can work using double bone armor but then you d have downtime switching back to other modules and lose durability

Roughly 26 dps. I always tank dfly, so I will use it, why not?

I wait for "lazy killings" - just tanking some bosses until they die)

Even with 2 marble armors, active garlic jellybeans and 3 active circuits It was not good enough to tank a few spiders, hounds or monkeys in my tests. You’d simply either survive almost dead or die anyway.

For bosses the damage it adds is meaningless, you will receive much more damage and as others pointed out would have been better spent slots into speed or health or even the regen one.

Due to how beefalo mounting works it probably passes the effect to them (Need verification) but even if it does, it’s unwise to let your costly tamed beefalo be punished.

In the forge the main benefit of WX was being able to counter enemies with an electric perk, but not because of the damage but because it would stun lock for a second all enemies around it. Perhaps they could aim for a crowd control use instead of just damage.

I think it's currently bugged with groups. When they all attack at once only one takes a hit.

Also someone did bee queen with I think 4 bramble husks, 1 crown, and 1 spicy volt goat jelly (hambat) and she died rather quickly.

That's 112.5 in reflect damage.

Do you have a video link or VOD to watch?

No sorry, it was on discord. But I imagine the brambles aoe does a bit of crowd control while the electrification circuit help the spicy goat jelly rack up the damage. 1 single crown is pretty good, but it does take a lot of prep plus it has to be raining.

Forgot cordon Bleu is also necessary but It was bugged causing Wx-78 to take damage despite not getting wet making things more difficult.
