Increase WX slots to 12 and very hard to charge

Despite having a lot of different and interesting circuits, nobody is gonna use most of them anyway. for example the hunger circuit, having 2 of them installed we can have 28% hunger drain reduction with 300 max hunger, this means more than 5 days not eating anything. Guess what? Nobody is gonna use that. and it's about most of them.
Other problem that most of people are talking about is how WX can have basically free infinite light early on, which is true.
So the best solution in my opinion is to make it a lot harder to get charges and easier to loose them but increase number of them a lot, so player can put important circuits at the bottom (for example light) and by gaining charges in a hard way it can become better and better, and this is very fitting to it's characteristic, because currently there is no "Upgrading" and we are basically just changing, and again most of the circuits are not gonna be used.

Lets just give him 500 slots it would be balanced because you cant see anything on the screen execpt for your charge meter

But 501 slots would allow more creative and engaging combos… all the combos at 500 slots are super dull

If some circuits are weak why not buff then to be competitive instead of just adding more slots so people will still ignore the weak ones and just stack more strong ones?

Obviously there should be a limit for each circuit, so people can't plug in 6 Health circuit and have 1000 max hp, that would be stupid.

Health circuit is one of the worst, though. If he had 12 capacity people would just do 3 speed plus whatever their current preferred ones are like night vision.

There is no problem with having 3 speeds and night vision at the same time "IF" they pay the cost of maintaining the charges, which currently there is no cost.

Just reduce the pins of the bad ones , tweak the numbers/function in the electrical circuit, change the crafting requirement of the gastro, and call it a day.

6 is more than enough.

The weak circuits like health, hunger, sanity, and jellybeans are still going to be ignored. This would just have people stack more good circuits.

Of course 12 slots aren't balanced at all. 

But I really like the idea of having 7 slots, because there are a lot more combinations possible then. I also think the bad ones (hunger, sanity, light) should use less pins so we have some more one-pin modules. Because there are some good combinations witch one free pin and then the "bad" ones would get used to fill that last pin. 

I think this still wouldn't be op, because yes WX is really boosted than, but he also doesn't have any other perks like farming ressources, cooking, fighting, farming etc. 

But also right now I like the state in which he is. I hope they do some minor tweaking, but for me he doesn't need some major change to his current beta state.
