Klei Official Public Servers

Should the server really reset with each update? 2-3 patches on a patch day is pretty common, and with these patches hitting in 2-3 hours, that may not even be enough time for the server to die naturally. Players who were playing on the servers would be ejected and their ongoing game reset because a minor bug fix happened.

We're still working on the cloud save functionality for our dedicated servers. Unfortunately it wasn't quite ready yet, and the priorities shifted on a few upcoming tasks, so it got delayed.

How often are the Endless mode servers reset? Every new major update or patch or set time? They can't be lasting forever, I know that for sure.

EDIT: Never mind, got answer to that question.

Also you should investigate Wilderness mode again at some point, it has been neglected for far too long as it makes some crafting and map reveal annoyingly devastating to lose and any proper resurrection options are just made unavailable to you (you could show a "You Are Dead" screen and present the player with resurrection options or to respawn at one of the set spawn point), might even be the mode that more people prefer to play by having easier access to character swapping over the "become a ghost and go resurrect" types.

The servers seem to not be powerful enough for 12 players. Birchnut Tree was lagging red with 12 players on day 44. 2 Players left and it was still yellow.

Yeah there's a bit of an imbalance of power in some Klei servers I've noticed, some I'd probably want to stay 8, while others seem alright at 12.
