What can i do to save this plant from dying

Recommended Posts

It is a plant for decor, fortunately. So there's no need to go out of your way for some early game decor bonus. It will be available for use once the appropriate pottery is researched. I'd dare say the oxygen is more valuable in this context.

Also i am pretty sure the condition is to have the other two plants live aswell so he could not block every adjacent tile.

Why not? Block the open sides with tiles. The tile containing the bliss blossom is already contained by the copper ore, which doesn't need to be removed if the goal is to save the plants.

He is saving it for a nature reserve.  Which I can respect.    You have to block the tile it sits on for left of it and bottom of it and drop a tiny liquid on the tile.  That should stop the oxylite from of gasing.

Nature reserve provides a 6moral bonus.  Which is huge for hardcore difficulty.

It will drop a seed, and later you will be able to plant it in the pot.

Not the point and not what he is trying to do.  He is trying to make a nature reserve room that provides a morale bonus.  This requires 4 wild plants.    Can't use plants in Pots.

Usually I just let it go and build nature reserve in other spots, but there is a way to save it. Tile 1 oxylite with no plant, tile 2 oxylite with the buff briar plant being discussed, Tile 3 and 4 have the bristle blossom plants and made from copper ore, and tile 5 algae.

You need to either dig or let it release its gas for tile 1 needs to be removed one way or another.

To protect tile 2, build a tile under it and while tile 1 is there build a tile on top of tile 5 algae and build a tile on top of tile 1. Then over that build a bottle emptier and have them deliver no more than 1 bottle of water to the area to cover the oxylite from the top.

Once tile 1 is gone, build a tile in its place. This will completely cover tile 2 from all 4 sides. If you have a mod for bottle emptier that can control how much liquid or any other way to control how much water you put over the plants, use it to prevent them from becoming flooded.
