Staying positive! [Hopefully]

Amidst all the chaos that is currently turning the forums into something of a warzone I just wanted to wish everyone on the dev team and reading this a nice day and good vibes.

You're honestly doing a great job with the game and I hope the current situation is not too demotivating.

I personally think you did a pretty good job even though a lot of people seem to be unhappy, which in itself isn't bad so long as they communicate it in a constructive manner. I will even admit to be hypocritical of this and not having been quite as polite in the past about certain things, however the current situation feels pretty harsh and I hope people will remember that overt hostility just hurts others.
For the record, I don't want to "police" anything people say as I am not a moderator or anything of the sort, I am just hoping to spread a little positivity and awareness to mind others.

No matter what, everyone deserves a good day and I am hoping we can all calm down just a little bit and get some good thoughts going.

Whenever something like this happens well meaning ppl will always say this ^ but every time its just like 6 disatisfied people screaming at the top of their lungs and making a billion posts. 

Even the speed poll, for what its worth, shows that the majority of voters prefer the change. Combine that with the ppl who voted ‘dont care’, implying theyre ok with the new situation, and it becomes overwhelming. 

I dont mean to say those who voted against should be ignored or wolf shouldnt be tinkered with some more but its never as grim as it may appear on the surface on the forums.

Hmm... well fair point actually.

Maybe I'm just perceiving it very skewed because I haven't been much on the forums recently and I literally saw a 3 day old post having almost 900 replies, as well as like 5 threads on it all and I think "wow this is pretty bad".

Personally those who voted "don't care" shouldn't be accounted for because, precisely that, they don't care. You don't make decisions in one country based on the opinions of people living in another, they don't matter if they're not invested in the changes.

As I see it the poll proves that the forum is pretty evenly split on the decision to removes Wolf's speed because it comes so close. That is usually how polls are read because not everyone votes. Also, if you look at the people who voted for the removal of his speed you'll see a lot of familiar faces, meaning people who frequent the forum often. On the other hand I see a lot more new forumers for those who are against the change, which speaks volumes to me because they took the time out their life's to participate in the poll when they usually don't voice their opinion.

People who voted "speed removal is good" also shouldn't be accounted, because they don't care about Wolfgang either, and won't actually care if he will get or won't get speed back in the slightest. Fact not an opinion.

Unfortunately, your absolutely right and that is affecting the poll itself too. As seen by people who are celebrating the "demise" of Wolfgang (ironic as this shows they KNOW the importance of Wolf's speed) they are skewing the poll just to spite him. 

All of the Speedrun videos made by skillful players are biting Wolfgang's butt as they are erroneously attributing the impressive clear times to the character itself and not skill (of course Wolfgang is of the greatest affinity for these runs too).

This many characters have creative ways to use their abilities to bypass many tedious things in the game, wolf was just by using his brute force sadly he is being smitten by all who don't even play him without them actually thinking about his gameplay loop they just see a gym machine and dumbbell and say that looks more like how my character works good job.
