Please increase the cost of bush hat to 2 (or more) bushes.

and for that we suggest this because berry bushes doesnt affect any survival aspect and less if getting more is blocked by a raid boss, a difficult area or expensive materials

idk what are you talking about. Did you feel atacked by our comments about berry bushes doesnt affect survival and for that you need to create a very odd scenario where all people will become noob or what?

the topic is about berry bushes being renewable not about "shaking the game up at its very core foundation" and even in that scenario, having ways to get more decorative plants and mobs wont hurt any survival because people busy with survival arent worried about making a road between biomes with berry bushes or decorating the dessert with fossils

also, you shouldnt be that proud, doesnt help with the communication

The thing is: the way the game plays now: The TL:DR of that is it Requires Caution.. and maybe, playing online with other players YOU can’t really have that, but when I play alone in Solo play I take great “Caution” not to let your previous (and highly hilarious) scenarios of Bearger, Klaus, Wildfire and Random lightning strikes from destroying my Non-Renewable resources..

IF These things were to become renewable (Berry Bushes, Catcoon Dens etc..) then I wouldn’t even CARE if they get Destroyed: Because they’re now renewable anyway.

The PROBLEM is if your not playing Solo: expecting the other players your playing with to take “Caution” can be a risky endeavor, But (and your own post shows a clear example of it) when your resources start getting destroyed 1 by 1 over many in game days, you take extra care and caution to protect what is left.

To have these things Auto-Renew would effectively make any gameplay mechanics intended to destroy them Useless.

If it was made possible at all.. if it required defeating every boss, unlocking a new structure that required you to put 1 of each resource in the game in it as a sacrifice- I would STILL be highly against it being added at all, because it gives players (no matter how easy or hard it is to get) an Avenue to be lazy and careless with their worlds you no long take caution to protect what’s left: Because you can just go kill all the bosses and replace it all anyway.

It makes the mechanics that are intended to destroy them, pointless to even be in the game at all.

The Best Solution to this problem is to have different game modes intended for different playing preferences.

OR if your on PC just cheat & use console commands to respawn more, no need to add it in officially when Klei gives you all the tools to do it yourself right? ;) 
 

TL:DR- Kill all bosses, get a relic fragment from each, slot them into a broken gateway, unlock a new gorge like sacrificial mob, feed it all resource types in the game, it gives you back the resources you carelessly let get destroyed.

Thats STILL a hard no from me.

if you think that people wont protect their berry bushes if them cost green gems or whatever expensive or difficult task then you are wrong

and there is no point of arguing with you and less with this kind of things:

you are asumming that pc players uses console commands to get more stuff. I guess is just to feel superior but i will give you a hint, if we spawn more stuff with commands why we care about having renewable resources?

also i see where you draw the line, having 2 extra berry bushes at day 900 is so op and is being asked by casuals but rolling back 500 times against a weak mob is the ultimate survival experience

Why not just add seeds for berry bushes or berry bush root crafting for duplication or something? It's better than nothing and could be similar like stone fruits. I mean whatever works, just hope it's planned.

^ This. KLei could make it so - similarly to Stone Fruit Bush mechanic - there's a 1% chance, when picking wild Berry Bushes, to drop a Berry Sproutling (or whatever may be its name).

Since when did "sandbox" and "survival" become mutually exclusive? My favorite DST mode has always been Survival. It keeps true to the uncompromising spirit of the original game; it's exciting, stressful, and beautiful.

Did single-player have limits to the amount of berry bushes? Nope. You dig them all up and world-hop. Matter of fact, in single-player every imaginable resource was renewable. Not once did I feel like this aspect of the late-game broke the basic challenge of survival or the uncompromising nature of the game.

Make the bushes slowly regrow in Survival. It won't destroy the early-game challenge, I promise. But it will spare the megabasers from having to set up a loot world if they get juicy berries.
