Seeds dont have the new look on old worlds?

Im using the new farms in a new world, and noticed that the specific seeds dont have the new design when in my inventory or storage unit, is that intended?

this seems to be a decision by klei to allow for compatibility with old farms, since they only accept old seeds

 

I like that, since I don't need to learn the cryptic seeds

 

I just hope old seeds work on the new f

yeah even the mini signs of seeds updated on my world

The "old" and "new" seeds are actually the same object. If you are still seeing the old art for the crop specific seeds then I would suggest disabling mods (or start a test world without any mods) and verifying your game files via steam.
