As of right now you can only change the seed of the currently selected asteroids but cannot change the asteroid type itself. blash365 Posted December 8, 2020 Share Posted December 8, 2020 I think it is obvious that there will be new starting _asteroids_. If you carefully look at the upper right and left corner of the asteroid selection screen, you will notice two arrows, which (assumingly) allow you to switch to a different starting asteroid in the future. In the background you can see the neighbourhood of that particular starting position. I would expect it to allow us to switch to different starting asteroids with different neighbourhoods in the future. As a matter of fact, the vanilla starting asteroid was selectable at the start of alpha already. I kinda expected it to already be accessable at the start of EA.
