New lunar content, everybody wants more lunar stuff! Klei has been focusing more on seafaring lately, but many players want more lunar stuff, and everything on the lunar island is more usefull than anything else on the sea. 2. Imagine all the new boss possibilities, who doesn't want new bosses. 3. More lore on "Them", this could open a door to more lore to the lunar stuff, I mean you find more lore on the main land in the ruins of the caves don't you? 4.More mechanics, in the normal caves, there are ceveral mechanics such as earthquakes, depthworm waves and nightmare cycles, imagine all the mechanics that could be added to the lunar caves, maybe lunacy cycles, moonrock earthquakes, lunar depthworms, ect. There are even more reason why this would make sense and I am sure many others can add their reasons to this thread. Simply put another world/server. with caves active, a world runs 2 servers. adding one for the moon would make 3 servers. Would work for powerful servers and pc's but not your average indie machine. Or they could somehow fit it in an unused part of the existing cave map like they did with ruins. These “Walls” Which once upon a time ago existed But were removed... would serve the purpose of allowing one server to host multiple Biomes without needing a brand new “Server shard” or whatever to go there. The best example I can provide is to take a PIE Chart Circle and then Split that into 4 Different equal halves but ONE SHARD runs All FOUR Cave Types.. (Does Anyone even know if this Would even work???)
