whodunit
anyone know of a way to start/stop a counter precisely. i'm trying to time my launches so that there's always atleast 2k kgs available. I thought it'd be so easy to do but so far all my attempts have fallen flat. Any help is appreciated. ZanthraSW
You can use a Buffer - Not clock and hold the output high with a memory toggle until a signal comes in to synchronize it. The timing of each rising edge will be fixed relative to the rising edge of the reset to the memory toggle. OxCD
I'm not sure I get what you want to do, maybe because of my not-native english, but a liquid-clock is by far the more precise and customizable counter you can made for rockets. Saturnus
I posted this when the counter came out. Should be able to add your personal requirements to that without issue. The notifier and manual reset switch isn't needed for it to work. The notifier and manual reset switch isn't needed for it to work. It's based on filter & buffer gates. Are those more reliable against save-reload from a recent update ? I stayed on the "no buffer/filter Gate" when it comes to long or very critical delay. Are those more reliable against save-reload from a recent update ? I'm on AP-399948-D. I reloaded 5 times So far the gates are holding their times correctly on save-reload very precisely. Maybe they fixed it when they introduced the auto upgrade. I hope you're right, maybe I'll try to use them again. If those are still unstable, meeeh we're talking about rockets, so you'll notice it very quickly anyway ^^ Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/117324-startstop-a-cycle-counter/#findComment-1325444 Share on other sites
Saturnus
Buffers/filters working correctly through save/reloads was fixed a long time ago. There's no problems with that at all.
