Question about Aquatuner

You make rooms like this:

Steam turbine basically deletes heat and returns some power used to run the aquatuner back. With a maximum of 877950 DTU deleted and 850W of power returned. When setting up a room like this, you make sure to turn it into vacumm and place 100 kg of water inside. Thermo sensor is set for "above 230C". Than you just make the aquatuner cool something down... If you are cooling down water which you should usually do, aquatuner will move 585060 DTU.
585060 < 8777950. So you can run the aquatuner 24/7.
With exception of super coolant, you can cool down all liquids without problems, but the water is the best one until you unlock super coolant.

Edit: also, Make sure to run the cold liquid through the steam turbine room. While burning 877 kDTU, it produces 100 kDTU which is fixed by running cold liquid through it which you usually produce with the thermo aquatuner.

Hi! Just use it anywhere you need to cool. Coupled with a steam turbine gives some power back.

Depending on the temperature range you're working with - use either ph2o (best for up to -20°C temp range)

Or petroleum/oil for lower or isoresin for really low

Since the most efficient way is to use it with a liquid loop remember to utilise thermo sensors and auto valve to prevent pipe damages due to freezing liquid.

Really needs to be made out of steel to use it properly. But I'm currently using a gold one and it barely works. It's taken some damage, but I also get overheat warnings that don't do damage. It doesn't create a lot of cold, but it's enough to run a cooling loop that keeps the base at around 23°C. Even managed to cool down some hot areas like around generators or the water sieve/compost

I think you mean super coolant for really low?

Ethanol should be preferred over petro/oil, unless you're at risk of over 75C temps, as it has a much lower freezing point, and a moderately higher SHC.

You're right.:)
